Clear penalty on Bergvall. Guess that evens things up for Spence on Jimenez

I’m stealing this from some guy on social media: The Tottenham doctors couldn’t fix him, but Dr Tottenham could.

I'm really finding it hard to give any kind of a shit about the rest of this season, Europa League being the (slight) exception.

Bissouma hooked at half time in 3 out of his last 5 games should tell you something.

I'm still quite hopeful about the Europa League. By the nature of the competition there are really eight flawed teams remaining, and I genuinely believe we can win it. If we crash out, though, well, it's hard to say that this season is anything other than a wash. I do enjoy watching some of these young players, though, especially Bergvall and Gray.

We’re all in on the Europa and it shows in our league matches.

Personally, I have no problem with it. We aren’t being relegated and who gives a fuck whether we finish 9th or 16th at this point?

If we win the EL the season will be seen as a success.

Can we agree on a gilded shit...?

A shining turd of a season.

we’re 25 years into a 3 year project hoping a few youngsters come good.

Winning Europe will be a band-aid and will still see a toxic summer for Ange

I'm still weirdly fascinated by the reasons behind Levy seemingly throwing his full support behind Ange no matter what, especially when you consider the last few managers.

Nuno sacked after just five losses in seven league games. Mourinho sacked a week before a cup final and Conte sacked while we were 4th, also with "only" nine defeats in 28 games whereas Ange has 15 defeats in 29 games,

Obviously it looks like the Europa League is what's keeping him in a job at the moment but he passed the point a long time ago when Levy would have otherwise dispensed with his services.

It is a puzzler. Could it be the old pride kickin in ? Another failed appointment on his already ridiculously long list ?
It wouldn't cost him a fraction of what it cost to sack Mourinho or Conte...

Maybe Ange has a pic of him dressed in leather with a ball gag, being whipped while wearing nipple clamps ?
Who knows....

Is it Spursy that Sess scored against us when he couldn't even get to the pitch from the physio room when with us?

It is kind of puzzling that Levy, being Levy, is still behind Ange. It may well be equal measures of gagged gimp photos & pride keeping the sack from happening.

FWIW, I'm still backing Ange b/c of the hints of brilliance the side has produced. It's obviously been far, far from consistent but it was magical to watch. He's had obstacles to overcome, particularly the significant injuries that no other club has experienced. Even Liverpool, arguably the current top side in Europe, couldn't cope with 10 first teamers out of the side v bottom of the Championship table Plymouth. How would they have faired over 3 months in that state?

The majority of our first team players are back & just getting up to speed. It may take some games to reach peak performance which I'm willing to give them. If they do not click, then we have a bigger problem.

BTW, the cesspool that is SC are really turning on Ange.

It's the body language that bothers me the most... It's dire. The reaction to a goal going in is terrifying me. Everyone looking round for someone else to point a finger at or ask who's man that was...

That doesn't generally change after a half time team talk either so they're not currently brought into what Ange is saying or there would be a reaction...

It felt like Kulu was carrying everyone on the pitch and mentally for a lot of the games this season with people reacting off of what he was doing... Him now out of the side no one else seems to be able to replicate what he brings in terms of footballing prowess or mental fortitude...

This side needs the end of the season so badly. They also need some personnel changes desperately... The old faces need changing and a new order needs to be installed... If that's with another new gaffer then so be it (not my preference),but we need a refresh... Again.

This is a good point, it's not like these players were going to necessarily hit the ground running. Odobert is really the only one you'd say has been able to do anything close to that.

Romero has looked rusty at best, VdV is obviously not ready to play 90 minutes, just to name a couple.
