Changing the manager will change nothing...
Of course it won't, and all it'll do is start the cycle all over again but the Dark Lord isn't going to suddenly get up and leave his position, and his personal financial stake in the club, just because of some banners and chants.

He, and ENIC, only leave if they're bought out and as we've said before, the only people who would put down that kind of money would be the Saudis.

So we've basically got to eat it, again, and try and see if we can stumble upon Poch Mk. 2 or bring back the man himself and hope he's got sense enough to put some caveats into a deal that protects him from Levy's shithousing.

I completely agree--in fact I think it might make it worse--but I still think it will happen. I really hope I'm wrong.

Poch just took over for the US with a massive contract. He's not coming back, at least until after the WC next year.

14 players missing, the remainder are shattered. Not sure what Levy is watching. Maybe his thoughts are with the revenue for the boxing. There lies our problem............

Fans should stage a sit-in. Stay in their seats after the final whistle and vent their anger against the board. Lange is another one, bet he is just a stooge for Levy.

At least he has the players, the effort is clear to all to see. Even today, we were more defensive overall and really should have had the game sewn up with the number of chances we had.

Read a post from one of levy's puppy dogs confirming the fault lies with the manager...A joke...........

Boycott games is another option, hurt him in the pocket. That is talking his language.

Agreed. Effort is of course a bare minimum for professional footballers, but we all saw the squad give up under Mourinho and Conte. It's part of the reason why I want Ange to get the chance to see this out.

Yeah I knew he'd taken over there. It was somewhat of a pipedream that we might throw enough money at them to buy him out of his contract and tug on his heart strings :)

Just reading that Ange has been saying in his post match presser that some players shouldn't have played today, Sarr being one, but they apparently volunteered to turn out anyway because there was nobody else.

Sadly, I think we will enter another Mason interim spell which is of no value whatsoever.........

I'm surprised you doubt the account being genuine, it is Levy's style and how he works. If players turned out today and shouldn't have, the whole situation is much, much worse than it already appears.....

Honestly thought it was obvious some of them shouldn’t have been out there. Porro and Deki look past the point of exhaustion, and we know Dragusin has played through injuries of late.

Apparently Sarr was another one.

Ange reckons we should have a few back in a couple of weeks.

What I'm struggling with a bit here is the stick that's being used to beat and and partially defend TDL is we were the 3rd highest spenders in the league over the summer...

On Solanke...? Odobert...? Who else...? Where the fuck are they...?

Why are running poor old Sonny into the fucking dirt every week...?

Although we have spent high, the quality of the player we are getting is all wage-based. We ended up with Lo Celso instead of Fernandez because we would not meet his wage demands.

Players don’t see anything from the money we give the club. It’s the wages they are interested in.

Hazard, William, Moutinho, Cahill, Diaz, are just some of the players we missed out on because of salaries. I am sure there is more

I heard last week we're the 7th highest payers in the PL but is that the problem ? Forest pay less, Bournemouth pay substantially less and so on....
We have a chairman who wouldn't pay £25m for Grealish...who wouldn't back Poch when we had a real opportunity to win something.
He's damaged the reputation of most managers he's employed. He's a very good businessman but a shit club chairman. His success ? His legacy ? He sits and admires it every home game. Unfortunately, he's never had the same drive about matters on the pitch....and he never will.

We've been here before..

He's not going anywhere...

As they say in the PR world, the optics of where we're at right now are terrible. Back when they were building the new ground, Levy himself used phrases like "game changer" and "one of the biggest clubs in the world" to describe the effect the new stadium would have. So here we are with this ultramodern stadium, expensive tickets, and apparently the eighth-richest club in the world, with not enough fit players to fill out the bench, and getting repeatedly done at home by relegation fodder. It's embarrassing.

Current form if you really needed any more confirmation we're in a relegation fight.

Also, and I get that he has been run into the ground but Pedro Porro’s game today was inexcusable. Cost us 2 goals defensively and then was responsible for one of the most selfish pieces of play I have seen in years when he decided to go for glory instead of squaring the ball to either of the two Spurs players waiting for a tap in.

Absolutely pathetic display.

I think what’s likely is that some of the guys that have played through this will start dropping in the coming weeks.

The boys are on fumes. We need good signings asap. If not and injuries continue to mount / we get setbacks / injured players come back too soon and get hurt again we will be in a full on relegation battle (I mean… we already are…)
