Should have made some half time changes at least. Hope we don’t wait too long to get Moore on at least.

Time to roll the dice. Sonny and Bentancur off for Moore and Bergvall please.

May as well lose 5-0.

The better team will always win, this is not a new thing in football.

At least we are trying, it’s all we can ask

At this rate we’ll likely be out of two out of three cup competitions in 4 days.

Son has offered nothing this game, as painful as it is to say.

They’re the best team in the world, and we’re nowhere near them.

I suppose it was inevitable that the player who should have been sent off for an elbow on Richarlison scores.

That’s me out! We were always gonna need an off day from them, or some serious luck to get through this. There are so many holes in our team. Forget injuries, we need massive investment in our midfield.

And Moore is given 10 minutes at the end when he could have been on for Sonny at half time when he might have been able to make a difference.

Obviously outclassed on the night. I don’t feel any blame should be on the coach or players.

Danso looks good, another good performance by Gray and Bentancor.

Tel looks like he will be a threat once he settles in

This Liverpool team could win everything. I hate to say it but they’re so good.

@Chavhater01 On the midfield thing, I think it’s time to start playing Gray in his actual position. Has an assurance and vision that Sarr lacks

Back home.
During the first half, really felt Sarr & Bissouma were lacking & off the pace big time. Wanted them off. The 3rd change would have been Son. Sadly, that is simply another performance not worthy of a leader / captain. Unfortunately, he looks past it. I don't know if he's carrying an injury but his poor performances have gone on far too long. I would use him as an impact sub from now on unless he improves.

It's too bad. It was going to take a monumental effort & some luck to get something out of this at Anfield.

Just hearing it from my smug LFC friends. Small minds & all that.

That was so disappointing. We offered nothing. It's a Cup Semi final. Who put a tackle in ? WHO got stuck in ?? Sonny got 90 mins. How ??
The players on that pitch tonight didn't do enough, with the exceptionof Spence and Richarlison before he went off. Yeah we've got injuries, several sides in the PL have several injuries. I'm sure many will disagree but for a big big game like that, that was not good enough on any level.

And Sonny will almost certainly start against Villa ..

Such a poor team performance for Tel to witness on his first outing. Got slammed 4 nil & outshot something like 25 to 3 with none of our shots on target.

Surely he's aware that we were up against arguably the best team in Europe, if not the world, at the moment & lacking numbers.

Still, I wonder what's going through his 19 year old mind.

I may be wrong but it looked like Spence & Davies showed the most emotion on the pitch.

Absolutely pish!

We're soft as shite. Absolutely steam rolled in a semi final, heading out without trading blows in any way! Honestly so so poor.

The sad thing is that he's almost exactly the same age as Salah. Not ready to give up on him just yet, but he definitely needs to be taken out of the firing line for a bit.

Apparently Richarlison has picked up an ankle injury which "doesn't look good" according to Ange.

I think it's time to explore how we can let him move on now. Either sell him if there's any value there or release him. I know it might sound harsh but I think there's a point where it just becomes counter productive to retain a player who keeps getting injured.

I didn't watch, because I feared this would be the outcome. I didn't fear the result, I didn't think we had enough to go there and be worthy of anything to be honest but the scoreline, is embarrassing.

We expect this type of scoreline against a newly promoted side or a team rooted to the bottom of the table.

I can't comment on our performance so I don't know if they were at it, and we weren't or if we actually stopped them getting double figures and were in a different league to us etc...

But the scoreline underpins the tragedy that were all experiencing right now...

This scoreline, irregardless of the performance highlights the chasm between where they are and where we ain't...

Harry Kane artificially kept us afloat for a few seasons while the rot got set in.

Now he's gone, it's exposed and it's way way worse than I thought it was...

It feels like the football has been stripped, it feels like the guts have gone and it's a husk, a fragile crumbling husk and the only option is to start all over again... You can't rebuild something when it's core has been hollowed out like we appear to have been...

That cunt was a sticking plaster, Cunté too was just an expensive poster covering the RAC riddled foundations of our football..

We're too far gone for a manager replacement to change anything, the players are on their arses and their values are dropping faster than cheap whores...

The kids may be the answer, but they are probably not the whole answer...

The problem lays much deeper in how we operate in the markets, how we scout, how we recruit etc etc etc... we all know where this responsibility lays and I'm sure you're all as bored of hearing it as I am as saying it...

We can't change any of this either, I don't have anymore support I can withdraw... And it wouldn't matter even if I did because they're are a myriad of consumers willing to take my place at even more inflated prices...

It's all just massively shit right now... Even Wolves fans are taking the piss out of us...

That's one aspect that makes me sad. If you somehow managed to galvanise the fanbase into purposely staying away from the stadium on matchdays, you'd probably get at least two people per seat willing to step in.

Some interesting bits from after the whistle last night. Obviously take them as you will but apparently Kulusevski and Bentancur were heading straight for the tunnel and had to be reminded by Porro and Bergvall respectively to come back to go and applaud the away end.

Deki was said to look rather pissed at Porro as well.
