Story of the two clubs: we refuse to invest in a second string keeper and they invest in a shitty one.Their keeper is worse than ours.![]()
Right. The CBS pundits over here (Troy Deeney and some other guy) also don’t seem to understand. Difference between poor decision making, or just being too slow with the ball, and a bad system. Still, it’s a real failure of recruitment that Forster, who ought to be just the old wise head in the dressing room, is in this position.I wish the sky pundits would understand we lose that game if we play any other way.

Bingo. The moron brigade conveniently forget what we did to get 3-0 up. Obviously that style of play works best for us. Ange made the point after the game that even with 10 players out we score goals “for fun” and no other team in Europe can make the same claim.
At risk of repeating myself, this is a project. It’s not going to all cluck overnight.
Dude I like Ange and I enjoy his style of play but we need to figure out how to give the players some freedom at the back. We pass it about and fuck around, never clear it and play ourselves into trouble time and time again. You can tell the players are scared of playing long because it isn't the Ange way. There's a time and a place for hoofing it and the players need to figure out when that is. I mean look at today. Keeper has thrown it in the net twice in 5 minutes and our next passage of play is a tight back pass to the keeper. It's frigging terrifying.
Hearing a lot of the same people who said Vicario needed to be stronger claiming that our last goal was a foul.Sometimes I think these ex-Liverpool and United players are scared about what we can do and they try and sabotage it my spinning these negatives threads #conspiracy

Thought United were better for a lot of the first half, but not the second.Amorim - "We were the better team v Spurs."
Anybody else disagree with him?
I watched the last 75 mins.
In that time, Spurs were far better building up a 3 - 0 lead.
Only Forster's howlers allowed it to become a contest.

They’re bedding in a new system. It takes time but they will learn. It’s not about the way we play, it’s more about the decision making process. It will improve as the players start to make decisions for themselves as to when to play it a little bit safe. Both of the keeping errors were avoidable and had nothing to do with playing out from the back indiscriminately. Forster’s pass to Gray is made 99 times out if 100 by any half-decent 10 year old footballer. It’s a howler. The second mistake is worse but the pass back to Forster was fine and posed no danger. That is just a keeper who lacked awareness and was too slow to shift the ball.
If that's a "chicken badge" reference... I love it... If it's just a typo and my fucked up hungover head interpreted it as a witty pun... Even better. At risk of repeating myself, this is a project. It’s not going to all cluck overnight.
Fuck me! That was all a bit mental, the waves of emotions watching us are just insane, it's draining!
Decent performances from most but happy for Spence, Biss, Gray and Solanke. Kulu just continues on his upward curve, although he does need to do a bit more defensively, as boring as it sounds. Utd are wank though, for all the money they’ve spunked, they still look incredibly average as a side. Bring on the Scousers, no idea what’s gonna happen though, at our best we can turn them over, just need to be on it mentally at the back, our attacking football tends to look after itself, against teams that afford us a bit of space.
I'd also include Dragon Man. He's been a beast & taken his chance very well.Fuck me! That was all a bit mental, the waves of emotions watching us are just insane, it's draining!

Honestly, based on what I've seen of Spence, I can't figure out why he hasn't played more. At times, while we're in possession but he's off the ball, he's been a little static at times & caught hiding. Other than that, he's done well.
Biss looked very good with the ball last night.
