Yep but don't jinx it I think it will work out about as well as Chamak....hope so anyway. I see they want to pay Sanchez £275k a week to keep him....when our new stadium is up and running these are the sorts of figures that we will be able to bandy around, if necessary, I expect Levy might be a bit more prudent?

Some reports claiming we've signed the 19 year old Turkish "wonderkid" Cengiz Ünder for £8m. Could be an inspired bit of business at that price because this lad, if he can reproduce his obvious talents at a big club in a big league, is going to be 1 superb player!
He was hotly tipped to join Mourinho at Man Utd also, which would make our capture even more satisfying, lol

Turkey has some very talented kids coming thru. I don't watch much Turkish football myself but I have seen some hype about a number of young, Turkish players.
I don't really like direct comparisons normally, but I can totally see why Cengiz Ünder has been termed the "Turkish Dybala". He's a similar build and he has a similar, direct style
I haven't heard of his club either, but they do play in the Turkish Super League, which means that Ünder has performed against the likes of galatasaray and Fenerbahce (that cracking strike at the start of the video is against Fenerbahce, for example). Not bad for a 19 year old.
The only concerns I have are, whilst he has shown he can do it against better opposition, it's very different doing it against big clubs whilst playing under the expectation of a big club also. That weight can often break young talent (which is why the likes of Alli and Rashford are so impressive). Also, how will he cope with the move from Turkey to England? - culture and language are vastly different and for a teenager it can often prove too much.
That said, he has the talent, and he could prove to be another one of those purchases we are becoming renowned for - Bale, Alli, etc

Here's another video from the 2015-16 season, much of it from Turkish youth teams & before he broke into the 1st team. He's got a cracking shot on him, and his delivery from free-kicks looks good to! I can see Kane & Alli getting on a few of those for sure! (When Christian is out the team, obviously)

Out of the huge admiration and respect I hold for Leicester City Football Club I wanted to be totally honest and transparent with them and have therefore informed the club that I feel now is the time for me to move on.
I had a good discussion with the Chairman last summer and we agreed at that time that I would stay for another year in order to help the club as best as I could following the transition of winning the title and in the Champions League.
However, I am fiercely ambitious and feel that now is the time to move on to a new experience.
I've always enjoyed a good relationship with the Chairman and everyone at the club, and I hope I have been able to repay the faith shown to me by my performances and commitment on the pitch during my time here.
I've had the four best seasons of my career at Leicester and have loved every moment. I feel immense pride to have been a part of what we have achieved during my time at the club, culminating in becoming Premier League Champions.
The relationship I share with the club and our amazing fans is something I will treasure forever and I truly hope they will understand and respect my decision.

Yeah, I was never convinced by Shakespeare. How he got so much praise for getting the record for "most consecutive wins for an incoming manager", it is SO misleading! For a start, he was always at the club so he can't really be compared to most "incoming" managers. Secondly, his first games for Leicester were against all the other strugglers. Yes, Leicester had been losing and he got them winning, but they had just been Champions, should be beating those teams easily and should never have been losing as bad as they were. They have a few decent players, but the 6-1 really showed them up and, once the novelty had worn off and he'd been found out tactically, Shakespeare and his Leicester team kind of fell apart. I can't see him lasting long next season. As I've said elsewhere, teams very often carry their end of season form over into the new season, and Leicester were pretty poor in their last few games.
