Well tbf he didn't exactly get a ringing endorsement from Poch. Sounds like he's got a lot of work to do to even get a look. Though with our injury luck, who'd be surprised to see him out there?

Makes common sense all round.Janssen wont get even on the bench unless he really shows something,he will still be 4th choice ATM.Easier to sell or bargain with clubs if a player isnt "frozen out",using him in the squad allowed sterling to go on loan and get experience,losing dembele&Nkoudou from the registered squad allowed 2 players to be added ,churlish to not register him just to make a point.And finally as we saw with sissoko,never say never.
