How on Earth can Chelsea make all these signings while the rest of the football world is in austerity? Yeah, I already know the answer to this question, but this sucks.

Genuine question (and apologies for not doing the research myself, as I'm sure it's out there if you know where to look) but does the Chelsea business model work? Or does that plastic outfit just keep getting more and more in debt to the Ruski? if it does work, why doesn't Daniel king of the financial deal Levy adopt some of it at Spurs and sign two quality players for the spine of the team? Please.

they owe abrahamovic more than a billion, and it wasnt spent on a shiney new stadium!!Its on their books but its interest free.As a club it works because they win things,as a business a billion and more reasons why it doesnt.
Personally I dont cheer on low wage % to revenue, low net spend and a large property portfolio.I just care about the 11 blokes kicking a football around.

Budget bargain bullshit...

Where is our Messi bid... he wouldn't come anyway but fuck it... stick 200 million on the table and 300k a week... show some balls and ambition.

Its never enough, and he won't come but at least its something I could crack a smile about...

Matt Doherty
Josh King and
Demari Grey....

Joe lewis net worth is $4.8 billion and Abramovich's is $12.7 billion. Looks like $7.9 billion is the difference between an ok transfer window and a outstanding transfer window.

Add a another $10 billion to Abramovich's fortune, and you get to Sheik Mansour's net worth at $22 billion.

Just shows how we cannot compete with most of our rivals, but ENIC need to show us some ambition, considering the most we ever spent was when we sold Bale.

Atletico Madrid will try to achieve their objective by luring Alexandre Lacazette to the Spanish capital.
.Andrea Berta is willing to offer Arsenal a swap deal for the Frenchman. Although the Gunners are interested in signing Thomas Partey, Atleti are not willing to part ways with their midfielder.Yet they would be eager to offer Thomas Lemar, or Angel Correa or Vitolo as a makeweight.

Rummenigge, though, claims the German giants do not possess the spending power required to pull off such a capture.

He told Tuttosport when asked if Bayern will enter the race for Messi: “No.”

Explaining that call, Rummenigge added: “We can’t pay a player of that size. It is not part of our policy and philosophy.

“Honestly, hearing that Messi could leave Barcelona makes me a little sad. Leo has written the history of that club and in my opinion he should end his career with the Blaugrana.

“There are internal and private aspects there that I don’t know about and that is why I will not interfere.”

Messi has contacted Neymar to inform him of his move to the Etihad. And this is where it really gets good: There is an insinuation that the 33-year-old has encouraged his former Camp Nou companion to leave Paris Saint-Germain and join him in Pep Guardiola's side.

Jurgen Klopp has always said that this would be a quiet window at Anfield and he must raise funds through sales if he wants to bring any marquee additions into his ranks.
