I agree with Clemmy that we seem ahead of United in terms of league position & winning silverware.
Conte & Paratici seem to be brewing something that is attractive to Kane.
Kane will also be 29 in July. I don't think he would sacrifice a couple more years of his finite playing career just to go to United for more money. The year's are too precious & Harry's ambitious.
Harry would be at Man City now if his brother hadn't fucked up the transfer. I'm sure he is ambitious but his ship might have sailed, he should have left a couple of years ago before the Mourinho/Nuno farce. I'm grateful he didn't and he will likely be the greatest player arguably that I ever see at Spurs, but I would indeed like to win something with him in the team. He surely deserves it?

I’ve always said it would be a crying shame if Kane finished his career without any kind of honours to his name.

This is the man who outscored Messi himself in one calendar year and I think he absolutely deserves to win something, hopefully with us.

Well we need to make some good signings because it looks as if the goons are going to land Jesus. He could be seriously good for them. We need 2 wing backs, a CB, and CM, and a backup striker/winger. Would settle for 1 RB, a CB and a midfielder. Not exactly an earth shattering ask. Fucking Levy.

Gabriel Jesus or the real bloke that had the cross? If it's the former not a problem, he ain't that great..... If it's the latter we're in the shit.

There's some joke in here about an inspirational target man getting on the end of a cross, but I'm wary to pursue it, atheist that I am.

You have to be careful innit? I made an innocent remark to someone about 'Jew on a stick' day one Easter and for some unknown reason the priest I was talking do got very un-Christian with me. I'm sure that if god existed, he/she/it/they would have a sense of humour and not really give a fuck what anyone said about him/her/them. Fuck my boots if you could create a universe in 7 days then you'd have to be a bit tough I reckon and some heathen blaspheming you really wouldn't get on your thrupnies and need god botherers to do your will for you. Apparently I am doomed to an eternity of hellfire, nice, I'll look forward to that.

So who/what do we want if we as expected now do qualify for the CL That in turn gets us £50m on top of the £50m Levy was going to spend anyway and player sales say £30m? £130m war chest, Conte at the helm, CL beckoning, Kane stays....

Right back (not Traore) and Left back plus 1 central defender? plus 1 in midfield to better replace Hojbjerg?, and a black French winger who's surname begins with a capital 'N' obviously.......Goalkeeper? Hugo has equalled his record of clean sheets, I think.

Don Tony is a fucking magician......I mean I love Poch, but this is what real very top quality management looks like.

And that will be fucking that for the transfer window...

We won't spunk much more than that I'm afraid...

I'd get streaky back if he is available... he still knows how to pass a ball even if he don't do all the running he used to do...

Creative midfielder in our side who also works his little ass off (as that's essential in how we set up) and with Kulu, Son and Kane we could stand a good chance of taking another stride forwards.

Get Doh'erty and "ANother" fullbacks firing again and we've got lots of options going at teams.

Regi has dissapointed me a little bit. I loved his workrate and his attitude but he doesn't seemed to have been in favour with the Don and that can only be because he can't do what DT is asking him to in training (or not as good as the others). I still think the lad has baaaagggs of potential, if he fulfills that with us is another thing.

I think we need a young CB (picture Foyth or Rodon) to learn from Romero and Dier and we do need to consider Hugo's future as he isn't going to last forever.

Bergwine I think will be off he just hasn't done enough and he seems a little tactically one dimensional when he steps on the park. Lucas I still rate highly but again I think he could go as he has expressed a desire to finish his career closer to home.

That means ideally we need:
Back up right sided forward
Back up left sided forward
A young back up CB
A playmaker
And a deputy for Hugo
Possibly a new fullback

We won't see anything of the sort... we will get Kulu and Romero who will turn to shit and or be injured the moment their contracts are signed.

We only absolutely need 3 players: a top class CB, a world class two-way midfielder, and an above-average right wing back. Back up striker/winger would also be great, but Levy and all. All of this can be ours for around . . . 150 million? Combined with outs and CL money and extra cash from the giant bar, should be doable. Come on, Levy! Spend til it hurts.

These don't count as 'new' signings Levy you cunt. We need the new blood Poch asked you for in 2018, sell Lo Celso, N'Dombele, Winks, Gil and anyone else that Don Tony doesn't want and buy the players that he does want - but not Traore, he's a waste of money - ask anyone from Barcelona. Chelsea might be having a clear out, Man United? I'd love Declan Rice but he's too expensive and won't come, Streaky - not sure where he fits in? Skippy coming back and all that....let's see.

I hear Bale wants to come back, he only wants half of his Madrid salary and Wednesdays off to play golf. So £250,000 and 3 day week, seems reasonable (not)

Levy logic will be to use the fact that this group of players qualified for CL (if indeed we actually do that) as evidence that we have the quality to compete for CL and other honors and don't need to invest heavily. In short, I agree with those of you who think permanent deals for DK and CR will make up the bulk of our summer business. That and maybe replacements for the likes of Bergwijn if he's off.

How on earth is Ndombole worth more than Lo Celso? Though I'd take 31 mil for him in a heartbeat. If we sold everyone on that list at their stated rate, we'd have over 100 mil! Everyone on that list is expendable. Would be well worth it.

I think our only saving grace is that Levy saw what Conte could do in six months with two players he wants. Imagine what he can do in a full summer window and season. Levy also HAS to know that Conte will walk if he gets fucked about in the window.

If we do qualify for the Champions League, there's part of me that's kind of thinking that Levy will go to Conte and say "Well look at what you did with the squad you have, you clearly don't need anyone else".

There's a story doing the rounds that Conte and Levy had dinner a few weeks ago to discuss the summer and Conte is said to have told Levy that he wants six players in and eight out. How they got hold of that of course is anyone's guess but I'd say that's about accurate for what we do actually need.

Pretty good summary of his approach to transfers under Poch. Hard to see that changing.

You know the worst aspect of all of this is that if Conte has said to Levy that he'll walk if he's not backed, Levy is probably ticking it over in his mind thinking "Well if he does go, I can re-hire Mauricio and his team and they can work with this squad instead and that'll get the fans back on-side".

Nothing like "We've got a legitimate chance of winning something with this guy if I give him the players he wants"

It's funny though. He's leaving Juventus because they won't pay him the money he is demanding - he's currently on £20k a week more than our top earner Harry Kane. Does anyone really think Levy would pay him a quarter of a million a week - which would mean all the other Spurs players getting the right screaming 'ump and demanding more? And another thing.... I don't think he would accept being striker number 3 and dropping Harry or Sonny would not be a great move.

I think I will not be betting any money on him signing for us, even though those very generous bookmakers have us 4/1 favourites.

He's a central midfielder, so not exactly a N'Jie/Nkoudou redux. I keep reading that he's quite good, tidy on the ball, covers lots of ground, but I've never actually seen him play.

It's actually tough looking at our squad under Conte to see what we need. Dier, Davies, Romero and even Sanchez (when called upon) have been great. Could do with one more to compete in all competitions.

Looking at our wing backs my opinion would be if we can get Doherty fit we need an assisting left back more.

Reguilon - 1900 mins played - 4 assists
Doherty - 900 mins played - 5 assists

(Approx prem minutes)

If we are playing 5 at the back the wing backs are basically our most important players, and they don't need to be immense defenders. Although Liverpool play a 4 their 2 prime wingbacks totalled 23 assists! Doherty looks like through a season he could tally 10. We need 7/8 from the left. Could Reguilon do that with a summer of training with Conte? Possibly. The guys determined!

Left back is a hard spot to fill. I like the fella Gaya from Valencia, however he is their captain. Could be hard to wrangle that one!

Beyond defense my opinion would be we need creation. Again this is tough as Hojberg and Bentancur work well in tandem, but we lose any sort of creativity. Again this is why the wingbacks are so important, as you lose a central player. I've said it before I'd bring back Eriksen. Creative and runs his bollocks off. We should have grabbed Countinho when he was available though! With eriksen when things get tight against Burnley or whoever u drop one of the front 3 forwards

Finally if Moura and Berg leave id bring in Ollie Watkins.

Would love to see one truly major signing for the midfield like Kalvin Phillips or Declan Rice. Then tinker with the wingbacks and CB squad option.

But Ndombele and Lo Celso are returning, so...

I know Lo Celso's loan is up, but he's been enough of a success at Villarreal that they'll almost certainly be buying him.

As far as Fatty goes, it's looking like Lyon won't be activating their option to buy so he will be back, but I've just been reading that he'll supposedly be asked to train alone when he reports back for pre-season so that a move can be sorted out "as soon as possible".
