Who the hell is that?
As far as I've read, both Paratici and Conte are apparently quite taken with him.

But then we paid £18m for Pape Matar Sarr just a year ago under the same circumstances and loaned him back to Metz for the remainder of the season and we're now said to be looking to offload him already.

Haven't seen that, would be a shame. A lot of competition in front of PM Sarr at the moment, but I'd like to see a good loan to keep him on the back burner.

Didn't manage to watch any of the preseason friendlies, but have heard he was good. A loan sounds right to me, but of course I'm not watching the training sessions.

I know little about Sarr abd nothing about this new boy, but I’m a little worried about the lack of academy players coming through (in the sense of getting in the first team regularly) over the last few years.

Would someone like that even fit in our system? We don't really field a proper #10, and IMO we've really upgraded in terms of technical ability and athleticism in the midfield with Bissouma.

Saying that, I'm still a little sore that we didn't bring Eriksen back. Aside from my affections for the guy, I thought he was one of the few bright spots (in the second half anyway) for the pile of dogshit that is Manchester United on the weekend.

Eriksen will regret choosing United over Brentford.

United are putrid. At least the Brentford lads play with spirit and he had a gaffer who was really supportive. I am not sure that Erik ten Hag is going to be the Manchester Messiah and I don't really think they will finish better than 8th behind the likes of Newcastle and West Ham.

Eriksen went for the money. Such an astute football brain could surely see how bad that squad is.

I always felt Lo Celso was a good player and certainly had an eye for a pass but I think he just wasn’t suited to the Premier League.

Probably another Soldado in some respects, but at least we didn’t completely break him like we did with Soldado.
