To some extent, I've felt it may be best to sell Kane & fund a true rebuild like Poch said years ago.

Bayern pushing for the deal with their propaganda machine.
Those bastards are so used to bullying other clubs in order to get what they want.
But I'm happy that Levy's told them to do one rather than compromise.
This is kind of where I'm at. Fuck them.

But in all honesty lads, Kane is a Spurs legend stay or go... I'm at peace with it...

If it goes tits up... blame Levy...

Nope, I'm back in full happy clapper tribalist mode. We are, of course, the type of club that would NEVER even consider publicly coveting another club's player.

But really, I'm at peace with it too. I just don't think they'll offer as much as the club will demand, so I think he'll wind up staying another season. That may be good, bad, disastrous, who knows? I do think it's kind of funny watching Bayern, who basically view the rest of the Bundesliga as their own private youth academy, getting held to the fire, even if it is by a prick like Levy.

Agreed. But in the event he does go, I'm sure Levy will squeeze the life out of Bayern.
LOL they may get him but they'll be thinking "why the hell did he have to be contracted to that club & that **** chairman".

In the past, I would have been concerned about how Levy would spend that money (if at all).
Seems we now have a plan & that has alleviated some of that.

Player ‘absolutely prioritises’ transfer to Tottenham – Already has ‘pre-agreement’ with Spurs for 3-year deal

Barcelona’s Clément Lenglet was on loan at Tottenham Hotspur last season and the north London club have been trying to buy him this summer.

On Wednesday, Mundo Deportivo reported that everything suggested the defender would move to Spurs before Al-Nassr showed up to sign him. It was also stated they are willing to offer him a big salary.

Sport state the La Liga side are pushing the 28-year-old to move to Saudi Arabia after receiving an offer from Al-Nassr. However, he prefers to join Tottenham.

The Frenchman isn’t in favour of moving to the Middle East and ‘absolutely prioritises’ to return to the Premier League side. It’s said the centre-back has a ‘pre-agreement’ with Ange Postecoglou’s side for a three-year deal.

Barcelona are in a hurry to close the defender’s sale and are demanding €15m. Al-Nassr are willing to meet their request while Tottenham ‘don’t want to pay that amount’.

It’s claimed Spurs have made a ‘huge effort’ to take care of Lenglet’s salary and cannot pay €15m on top of that to buy him.

Spurs face Barca in the friendly tie next week and Sport suggest it’s possible a solution could be found then.

The report says Harry Kane’s potential sale to Bayern Munich is the ‘main problem’ for the English club and it has been ‘delaying all their market efforts’, including a deal for Lenglet

Seeing kind of mixed reviews from South American journos about this guy, ranging from "one for the future" to "really don't see why they were interested in him."

I hope Levy learns something from this process about meeting the valuation set by selling clubs for elite players, but you know he won't.

Well, I fucked it...

Djed Spence looked a bit like he had a dose of the "couldn't give a fucks"...

If you don't run your cock off against Barca... whatever the setting, then you don't deserve to wear the shirt.

Kinda weird game because their kids matched up better against our back 4 than Lewa and co did. So much pace. But yeah, Spence wasn’t at the races. Reggie looks done IMO. He’ll definitely be shipped out.
