If you mean Lenglet, then no. His loan ended and he “officially” went back to Barcelona.

However ..

There’s still been talk of trying to do a deal for him around the £4m-£5m mark which is clearly a Levy special because he probably thinks he can then put him up for around £20m this time next year.

I can only hope Scott Munn now has the power to block any such deal.

Played some at Fulham this year. He belongs to Shakhtar and we’re getting him for free because FIFA allowed the players to suspend their contracts until the end of next season. Which means his deal is basically null and void. It’s an OK signing I guess, but I have to say I don’t like that shakhtar are getting fucked on this.

Shakhtar signed off on it given we agreed to have a friendly with them on Aug 6 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the proceeds going to Shakhtar. So essentially wasn't free & we didn't fvck them.

For me, it seems more like a specific signing to fit Ange's system more than anything. If we're doing a statistic-based approach then it would make sense.

Obviously, angry spurs twitter will be angry because his surname isn't Mbappe and we're not paying him £600k a week.

Did not know this. In my mind it feels like we have plenty of LBs, but I suppose Davies will be past it some time soon, Sess may never blossom, and Reguilon may want to be shot of us after the way he's been treated. And Udogie's a wing-back, Perisic a supersub...wait, maybe we do have too many of those.

A few thoughts. First, we apparently turned down 20 mil for Ndombole because Ange wants a look at him. If true, I am done with him already, but grain of salt. Also, if you can play wingback, you can adjust to being a standard fullback. Much harder to move the other way. And if we got this Dutch guy and say Laporte, we'd be a serious top 4 threat. Assuming, you know, Kane stays and all.

He's been mentioned as someone they want to move if they can sign the Gvadriol(?) whatever his name is. Would make him 4th choice. There were some early links, but haven't heard anything in a while. Would makes sense for all involved, but Levy probably mucked it up.

Thats over 1m a week, which makes 450,000 a week seem quite reasonable 🤔😊
