The Saudis and Qataris probably wouldn’t want one, because the whole point for them is to spend. But American owners would love it for exactly the reasons you’re saying—if given their way they’d also like to see an end to promotion and relegation.

Apparently Manor Solomon is confirmed for his medical tomorrow but still no sign of any CB's coming in and we supposedly fly out for the start of the pre-season tour in a week.

Kane is due back at Hotspur way on Wednesday apparently.

Not really excited about Solomon if I'm honest. Don't get me wrong maybe he can become a world beater, but he just spent a season at Fulham coming on for 10 minute sub appearances when Willian got tired. At the minute our entire front line is better so he's a squad player not a player to take us up a notch, and without Europe we don't really need a squad lol.
