Today I learned that Conor Gallagher is only 25. I thought he was five years older than that. I do know he hasn't been starting for Atleti, so naturally he'll get linked with us.

Souza is open to signing with Tottenham. He likes the option of playing in the Premier League and living in London, in addition to the sports project they present to him. Santos awaits the new offer. It will be almost double the first one (10M€). Busy days.

I wonder if we used the word "shambles" in our presentation?

Let me some this thread up for the folks who don't want to read through it. Udogie is near death, we'll overpay for Gallagher, Frank is clearly suffering from a head injury, and we will sign nobody of note this window.

From Frank today

I think, especially in football, the most important thing is to keep the noise out. Then you can see there's this situation with the post from Cuti. There could be others where it's maybe not that positive or a lot of people speaking.

When we want to attract players, we need to tell our, as close to possible, unbiased story and a good story about this fantastic, beautiful club and why you should come to the club. I'm pretty sure that clever players and agents can look through if there's a little bit of noise.

I think it's very important to stress that even though there's noise, the club is very aligned. Johan, Vinai and I are very aligned. Ownership is very aligned. We know it's a tough spell that we need to get through.

We're working very, very, very hard to see if we can improve the squad. Johan, Fabio, Vinai, everyone in and around the club, recruitment department is doing that. January is a very, very, very difficult window.

It's very important to get short-term success and long-term success. Everything is linked. So players we are bringing in, it's because we think they can improve the squad and the team.

Auxerre have identified Tottenham goalkeeper Antonín Kinský (22) as a potential loan target as they search for a new goalkeeper, according to a report from L’Équipe. The Czech international stopper could view the opportunity to join the Ligue 1 club as much-needed, with minutes scarce in North London.

The 22-year-old has made two appearances for Spurs this season – both of which have come in cup competitions. Gugliemo Vicario’s increased availability has seen the former Slavia Prague keeper’s opportunities drastically reduced. Kinský made 10 appearances for the Premier League club when Vicario was out through injury.

Auxerre approach Tottenham for Kinský loan

L’AJA have already approached Spurs over a 6-month loan deal for the Czech international. The goalkeeper would be expected to compete with Donovan Léon if he were to move to France. Spurs have been linked with other goalkeepers, and the UEFA Europa League winners could view the potential loan as a positive opportunity for him.

EXC. Tottenham seals the signing of Souza. Santos will receive 15M€ between fixed and variable payments. They are in the lawyers' phase. Contract for five seasons, until June 2031. He is expected to travel to London between Sunday and Monday to undergo the medical examination and sign.

Tottenham forward Mathys Tel is open to a loan in January in an attempt to make France's World Cup squad.

The 20-year-old made his loan move from Bayern Munich permanent in the summer for £30m but has since struggled under Thomas Frank.

Having been signed after an initial six-month spell under former manager Ange Postecoglou, Tel has started just five matches this season, scoring on three occasions.

Tel was also left out of Spurs' Champions League squad in September but was re-added to replace the injured Dominic Solanke in December.

It remains unclear whether Spurs will sanction a move having seen fellow attacker Brennan Johnson join Crystal Palace for £35m last week.

Tel has yet to make his debut for the national team but has 12 goals in 20 games in the Under-21s and recently became captain.
