Delighted for him. He was chuffed afterwards. The team was a shambles before his first. Embarrassing to be honest. But he drove at them and scored a cracker.
He turned the game...

Excellent season for him on loan.

19 starts, 4 assists and 13 goals.

Wonder if Ange will want to give him a chance ?

Got a hat trick in the Eredivisie relegation match too. It'll do his confidence the world of good. Delighted for him. Could do with an in form striker for the National side so this will do him no harm whatsoever.

Good luck to Troy whatever route football takes him. He has not quite reached the heights yet. Despite scoring 3 goals the rest of his performance drew some criticism with all duels lost, only 80% pass completion and zero dribbles.
I like him, he is a natural goal scorer and is probably worth a try before Scarlett or Werner !!

I've lost my voice. What a moment. Incredible. No chance a few days back...then we beat Portugal and do that in Budapest. Just a pity tje play offs aren't next week because I think we'd beat anyone with pure heart, but we'll have to wait to see who we face.
So happy for Troy....a real humble guy who's just lived his dream.

Five goals in two must win qualifiers, including a last kick of the ball winner, is really hard to believe.

On a slightly sour note from a Spurs perspective, hindsight's easy, but I still think we missed the boat on this guy. It is hard to believe he couldn't offer more than some of the CFs we've been trotting out.

I've always rated him but I suppose he was unlucky that Kane burst on to the scene in the way he did. But then we seem to have this built in hesitancy in giving our young strikers a chance even though it worked out pretty well with Kane himself.

This is why I can't see Dane Scarlett getting any kind of decent chance.

The mad thing is the only reason he got a start against Portugal and Hungary was because Evan Ferguson was injured.
Sliding Doors.....

Troy has Scored 12 goals in 14 matches for his club AZ

Spurs spent £65m on Dominic Solanke, £60m on Richarlison, more than £30m on Mathys Tel, and a loan fee to sign Randal Kolo Muani from PSG, only for Parrott to outscore them all combined. Only Richarlison (4) and Tel (2) have scored for Spurs so far this season.

He's in an inferior league but that is still impressive.
And that's crazy when you have laid it out that way.

for sure it's a sub par League, but I wonder if some of our "primer League strikers" would have that output.. plus I think we sold him for just under 7 million... it's a shame he didn't catch on here...he did have major competition while he was here

I was in a coffee shop watching on my phone with my daughter ( she wanted a half blah blah with a splash of blah) when Troy scored his third, I scared the whole coffee shop. I shouted something like go on ya fukcing beaut... luckily my daughter high fives me, which seemed to calm every one else down.. what a beautiful goal
