Snoop Dogg has told the under-fire Celtic board to give him a call to help end the turmoil at the club.

The celebrity Hoops fan also revealed he is willing to invest some of his millions into the Glasgow giants to help buy new players.

Asked if he would take on a role at Parkhead, he The Drop It Like It’s Hot star, said: “I don’t know about coach, but as an investor sure. Investing in Celtic is something I have talked about in the past and if the opportunity was right I would be down for it.

“Celtic is a huge club and fans want to see the best players playing in this great stadium. All the owners have got to do is ask.”

Asked for his reaction to Rodgers leaving and being replaced by interim boss Martin O’Neill, Snoop said: “I love sport, and in sport players leave, coaches leave, and you move on.

“You got to give Martin O’Neill big respect, he is coming back when we need him. I think you got to bring Ange back, the club are gonna do what they are gonna do but the fans would love to see him back.”

Snoop Dogg, who has been a Hoops fan since being gifted a club shirt in 2005, has previously spoken of his desire to open a burger van outside Celtic Park.

In July he became a co-owner and investor at Swansea City after taking a minority stake.

One of Ange's quotes

They’ve built an unbelievable stadium, unbelievable training facilities but, when you look at their expenditure and particularly their wages structure, they’re not a big club,” he said. “I saw that because, when we were trying to sign players, we weren’t in the market for those players.

“When you walk into Tottenham, what you see everywhere is ‘To Dare Is To Do’ [the club motto], and yet their actions are almost the antithesis of that.

OUCH

Well the truth hurts.

Ange won a trophy in spite of the club.

We are run by a pack of cunts.

Sour grapes or a man speaking the truth because he can? I prefer to believe the latter.
I mean, Ange, like Frank, wasn't a magician. Both were pushing against headwinds they couldn't overcome.

And the problem seems to be that the club just keeps casting about looking for someone who'll work magic:"he's magic, you know," rather than doing the boring shit that makes a club successful.

In context, the interview almost sounded like a warning to prospective managers as much as anything.

The inflection of your "cunt" is vital...

It can mean the difference between welcoming an old friend, asking a question or challenging someone to mortal combat...

I don't know if our non UK brothers understand the subtle nuance when using the term... I think the Aussies get it...

Often people from the UK struggle, especially those from more affluent backgrounds...

I know it's considered highly offensive, but I don't understand why it apparently sits above almost all other words in its offence...

For me it's just another adjective, but I do choose my audience nowadays...

In all seriousness, I actually find shit like this fascinating. Americans say "motherfucker" the same way. In my area, it's become very useful to learn how to swear in Spanish. They're so much better at it than us English speakers.

And that's part of the madness... If you told me I'd fucked my mother... I'd be calling you a cunt in a very unfriendly manner...!!!

Well not necessarily me, as my level of fucks for this type of thing is minimal, but some people from my era/persuasion/upbringing would be swinging for you...

Anyway, I'd welcome Aage back temporarily having slept on it... Ask a favour...

He'd tell us to get fucked, but I don't think it's the worst idea out of all the fucking shit ones I've seen banded about...

Same, especially seeing some of the names that are floating around right now. Like you say, no way he'd take the job, especially interim, but he'd get a charge out of them and we know he's still well-liked. It would also be the Spursiest thing in the world to hire a manager that just hammered the club in an interview

Kind of like "Malaka" in Greek.
