Another season like that and he'll be the hottest thing on the block if he isn't already...

Am I right in saying that his job title was changed at the start of the season from First Team Head Coach to Club Manager or something like that. It might seem trivial to some but if that was the case there's no doubt in my mind that he's around for as long as he wants to be. He's definitely the biggest asset the club have.

They are coming to speak to Conte. All of this nonsense is generated by agents who then leak the details to the press including which hotel or restaurant they will be meeting at....remember Poch and Fergie having lunch about 18 months ago....

Aaarghh fucking agents, I really hate 'em. Back in my tv days, we followed Sky Andrew around as part of a doc we were making, he's actually not that bad compared to many others but it showed me how utterly reliant footballers are on their agents, they effectively run their lives, stopping short of wiping their arses for 'em. Totally useless fun/fictional fact, Henry VIII apparently had someone to wipe his for him, that must've been an unpleasant job!

I read a good article in the Times, profiling Pogba's transfer to Utd, the crux being that Utd paid his agent somewhere in the region of £26 mill, with another potential £16 mill in add ons, it's disgusting it really is. Of course they have a place in football but FIFA need to do something about agents fees.

As for the Inter link, I'm with @J.spurs, Inter Milan, I mean show the man some respect!!

No way he's leaving us for Inter right now. If Barca come then we've got something to worry about. I don't care about his previous ties with old clubs, Barca is hard to turn down. But not Inter milan. They just ain't the force they once were and we're going places.

As several have said on here, it's going to be a long summer on the transfer speculation front. I plan on trying to ignore most of it, except for the parts where we're linked to players I want us to buy. I promised myself after the ratfishboy saga awhile back that I wouldn't get too worked up about these stories one way or another.

That's exactly where I'm at, completely agree!

There tends to be a defining moment during a transfer saga, when you think hmmm...there might be something in this. The big transfers tend to stew and fester for a while, they're always there and they just drag on over, sometimes 2,3 months or even over year.

For that reason I'm not concerned at all about any of our indispensables leaving anytime soon.

Inter are so poor that their fans walked out mid match against Sassoulo recently leaving a banner, saying you don't deserve our support we're going for lunch.....

Maybe it was a kebab? They lost 2-1

Gary Neville is so in love with the Poch, he speaks about him like he's some God, it's so beautiful!!

Is he all that? Just ask G Nev, he'll present a pretty decent argument for an absolute, stonewaller yes!

I tend to agree with this. Anything that has legs will have already been muted in the press or gossip columns.

Pretty shit when you consider Walker has been ragged through them, but I will give zero fucks as we won't sell him until the very end of the window when we have done our business. Levy tactics obvs to say we're skint and get our players in for as little as we can. Trips has another gear and his final ball is even better than walker. The quality won't dip too much.

That does mean the Zaha and Barclay rumours are probably legit and while I don't think either of them are shit I don't think either of them currently have the ability to take us onto another level as a Hazard, Modric, Bale, Isco type player has done for their respective teams...

With Poch's stewardship they may be...

Exciting summer ahead.

Exciting Summer ahead indeed mate, I'm going to enjoy this Summer's transfer window. I don't think we have anything to worry about, worst case scenario is we lose Kyle but I think Trippier's a fantastic player and we'll also get a stack of cash. It's about who we get in, that's the exciting part.

Barclay's decent but hasn't looked to have improved that much over the last few years but as you say mate, under the tutelage of Poch he could unlock the full potential he has. Maybe a straight swap for Sissoko, after all Everton were after him and with Barclay unlikely to sign a new contract, it could work for both parties.

Zaha for me would be a bit of a strange purchase, largely coz we don't play with out and out wingers and he'll cost upwards of £30 mill. Demarai Gray or Matt Phillips would be much cheaper options. I know he's possibly a real luxury but I think Mahrez would be a great buy.

That should keep the rumours quiet for about a week.

I think the bulk of the team will stay with him there. Might lose player, but spend some dough on a few others but I'm not as certain of players leaving as I have felt in years gone by!

I tend to agree mate. I'm not at all concerned about the summer transfer business. Like any side, it has to evolve and imo the gaffer has earned the right to tweak where he feels its necessary. I do think it will be a few wee tweaks tho.

Fake news!

Rupert Murdoch's rags told me he was off to Barcelona or maybe PSG or Woolwich or Real or Argentina or Inter.

Out in sept.
The exclusive behind-the-scenes story of the Mauricio Pochettino revolution at Spurs

'You show on the pitch who you are. If you are brave in your life, you cannot behave in a different way on the pitch. I don't understand how to play in a different way. Always be brave. I like to be brave.'

Since joining the club in 2014, Mauricio Pochettino has transformed Tottenham from underachievers into genuine title contenders. In the process, he has marked himself out as one of the best young managers in the world, more than holding his own against the Premier League's established heavyweights. He has done so by promoting an attacking, pressing style of football and by nurturing home-grown talent, fully endearing himself to the Spurs faithful along the way.

Guillem Balague, the Sky Sports presenter and Spanish football expert, has been granted unprecedented access to Pochettino and his backroom staff over the course of the 2016-17 season, resulting in the most comprehensive and compelling portrait of a manager and of a club in the Premier League era.

Poochy out!
I believe some time this season he will become out longest serving manager since The General `76-`84 overtaking El Tel `87-`91 and OFC Enic`s longest serving manager Arry `08-`12 198 games. Poch has now managed over 150 currently. way short of burkinshaws 431.
