This bloke is a class act. Sorry for a continual repeat post.
I keep waiting for him to slip up with the media. Just don't think its going to happen. Class act indeedThis bloke is a class act. Sorry for a continual repeat post.
I read no hint of threat whatsoever, what I did read was an encouragement and an urge to take the steps necessary to go up another level.
One big fear, although I don't think it will happen - Chelsea.
If you want to play conspiracy theories, then how about - Levy promises Poch £Xm for Summer transfers plus whatever he gets from player trading, all agreed. Then Levy gets a bill for Stadium overrun costs and calls Poch. 'Sorry mate but the Stadium has gone over, bloody builders have nicked your Summer funds...'I just don't get it. It sounds positive but I still get a weird vibe from this.
Poch has said numerous times that he & Levy talk on a daily basis & that they have a "terrific" relationship.
If the above is true, then surely they have discussed their short & long term plans going forward & there is no need for this type of wording in a public announcement. In other words, you'd think Poch should state that "this is our agreed plan going forward". If they haven't discussed it, isn't he kind of backing Levy into the corner thus potentially jeopardizing their relationship. I don't think Levy likes that kind of shit.
Unless this all has been discussed & this is all just a smoke-screen ie will Levy or won't Levy back him?

PSG is the other one. I read in the click bait media, because I can't help myself, that he also wants a new contract. We've all gone a bit money mad all of a sudden.lol, he's not going to Chelsea. Crap supporters and a wee stadium. difficult owner and some unhappy players. The only PL team that will ever tempt him will be United. Once Mourinho leaves we could have issues. If not United, than Real. Otherwise he's ours (I hope).
PSG appointed Tuchel Yday.PSG is the other one. I read in the click bait media, because I can't help myself, that he also wants a new contract. We've all gone a bit money mad all of a sudden.
If Poch's target and project from Levy was to get into Champions League, then he's done it and done it well against the odds, spending little money. Levy will know this.
rumour is deals for his backroom staff already agreed, but a preference to renew some more players before announcing Poch.Nothing to worry about with Poch, more chance of me managing chelsea than him,i`d love the chance though,id have them in the irn bru southern league in a matter of years.I think Poch has meetings with Levy this week to discuss Summer strategy, transfers etc. etc. i know that he has been at the training ground this week and involved in the hotel build there.
I guess we should expect some form of leaks from Friday onwards when Poch goes back to his house in Barcelona, personally I'd be happy with a few lovey dovey shots of him and Levy at present. If Levy pulls the rug from under him in any way, back tracks on any agreements, verbal or otherwise and Poch takes a hike, that would seriously harm my support for the club. I know I'm only one amongst millions and this is a conspiracy theory, but if true, it would kill everything that's been so recently brilliant, for me.
I'm not expecting Poch to be given ridiculous sums or to start paying players £200k a week, but we have to sign a couple of players at the very top level and give those here a pay rise. It's all achieveable with CL qualification and the increased revenue from various channels. A combination of that plus the existing young players improving and we'll be well set.
I agree... it seems like we've been saying it for years on end but it does seem that if we don't throw our fucking hat in the ring this year, and stick our neck out a bit and actually have a proper fucking crack at doing somthing great... it may all fizzle out to fuck all after this.I think Poch has meetings with Levy this week to discuss Summer strategy, transfers etc. etc. i know that he has been at the training ground this week and involved in the hotel build there.
