I’m so fucking pissed off, one of those days, gifted them their goal and couldn’t beat DeGea. Best team lost.

Very good game of football that we'd have won 6-4 with different GKs at either end. Very disappointed not to get at least a point out of that one. Pogba should've been sent off, no doubt about it, but it would've taken something special (or maybe not-so-special, like a deflection or Phil Jones cock-up) to beat De Gea. Credit to Solskjær, they're a totally different proposition than under the previous idiot.

Also, Mike Dean is not very good at his job.

Gutted! One of those days but fuck it leaves a sour taste, especially when Sky spend the whole coverage wanking off Utd. Utd barely did anything the whole game, barring a couple of counter attacks, of which one led to a goal, which was made by Tripps with a suicidal pass. They got battered in the 2nd half, had we had our shooting boots on, we would’ve got at least 3.

The NBC pundits are currently pulling the neat trick of wanking off United's manager while simultaneously saying Poch needs to replace him.

Pochettino is very happy with the performance, as he should be. We did everything but get a result.

He also said that the 2nd half is the best performance he has seen from the team since he has been manager.

Pochettino also concerned about Kane after the game.

Is that the same one he's injured in the past couple of years? Can't remember if he's injured the right, left, or both.

Mauricio Pochettino on Harry Kane's injury: "My worry is that it was a bad tackle in the last moment. It wasn't the intention of the United player but it was a bad tackle and now he has bit of a swelling on his ankle and he was limping after the game.

"We are going to lose Son for the Asia Cup and if Harry Kane suffers an injury, it is going to be massive for us."

"I am so pleased and I'm proud. After four-and-a-half-years, the second half was the best performance I have seen Tottenham play. It was amazing and I think David de Gea made 11 saves which is unbelievable. In football, sometimes you deserve to win and don't and other times, you do not and you win. That is why we love football.

"We dominated in the first half but we didn't organised ourselves well when we lost Moussa Sissoko and that is how we conceded the goal. United were deeper in the second half, but to play against that system it was amazing to create 11 chances in the second half. I feel so proud and I am leaving Wembley with a good feeling.

"We conceded a counter attack in the first half but the second was the best performance I have seen. We were not clinical and sometimes you score with less opportunities but it is nothing to complain about. The team played unbelievable football and everyone who watched the game can feel the same as myself."

"Tottenham did everything to win the game. Maybe we dominated and we created a lot of chances. It was an amazing second half, I am so pleased.

"Sometimes you win a game and you are disappointed, like when we won 3-0 at Old Trafford. They were better than us that day. Today the result should be different and I am happy. That is the way that we want to grow and play. Taking risks, playing football that we are going to play. The team was fantastic, that is the best 45 minutes I have seen Tottenham play since I took charge.

"There were 11 saves from De Gea who was outstanding. He fully deserved to be man of the match.

"It was a clear foul on Harry Kane, a big hit, Mike Dean said he didn't see it. Kane twisted his ankle and we hope that it is not a big issue."

The football in the second half was sublime, the movement and the passing ripped utd apart, but ffs place the ball in the bottom corner!! De gea made 11 saves i would say 7 were straight at him

No I think he got booted in the knee or shin or something in the scrum that was Harry controlling and trying to turn!

Just seen the replay, looked like rolled his ankle?

I do love this team. Being disappointed that we should have one to go second is something I need to get use to as a spurs fan. It’s a hell of a ride

Gutted ain’t the word .soooo many chances squandered and some good save to boot .
Gonna have to watch the highlights tomorrow , I’m too knackered now ,but before I go to sleep
1 when Kane headed goalwards from 6 yds out , to me he looked held up , if not it’s possibky his worst ever header
2 Pogba got booked ,,but it shou,d have been a red
3 Mike zdean ,,since he got utubed celebrating a Spurs goal ,he’s gone totally native , he screwed us over away to Arsenal last year , denied us two pens against Burnley ? Last year ,,was a total cunt earlier this season , and from the 2mnd minute when he didn’t give us a free kick.......onwards he allowed De Grace and Man U to waste time at every opportunity , and with all the shots at goal and over , DeGea took full advantage . No refs know when the crowd ain’t happy , and normally leave it till 93rd to book em ,but today he couldn’t even be arsed to do that
Aaaaargh

Sorry but I’m still irrationally and probably unfairly angry, not with anyone in particular, maybe Mike wanker Dean. I just hated losing today, when we had that many chances to set up a brilliant second half of the season we didn’t take it. Totally shit afternoon, I know it’s just football, but that’s not doing it for me at the moment, I wanted to win today. A lot and we deserved to.

And somehow , This is not a red , not even worthy of discussion .
I’ve gone on Red Cafe , they’re bigger Nazis than anyone on here . If you dont format it right , make a spelling mistake, or heaven forbid condemn one of their players , they reject your post and threaten to ban you

He knew what he was doing too, not a clumsy challenge but deliberate. Plain to see in real time as well.

Anyone else with post traumatic stress? This morning, when driving to work with music on I actually said out loud "Dele, how did you miss that?". Still on repeat in my loaf reliving all those misses.

In hindsight a lot of those balls were right at DeGea. WTF were we doing? United should sell while he's high imo. Almost nailed on that he will doom their run in with a few howlers.

That's also the quality of his positioning though. Additionally, he is quite different to many other keepers in that he makes a shitload of saves with his feet, whereas other keepers really struggle with anything shot low. I'd say he had his flat spot at the World Cup, other than that he's been off the chain for a few seasons now. They would have finished 8th or something if they had had anyone but him in goals last season.

15th jan 2019 a day that will live in infamy

full-back Serge Aurier missed the match against @ManUtd as he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his partner on Saturday night before being released several hours later without charge. [The Sun]

Can't argue with that... he should be cover for someone else imo. Trouble is if he got the stupid shit out of his game he'd probably be very good.

If I was a pessimistic bastard, I might think that the 90 minutes on Sunday could define a whole sorry season, the Injuries, the Stadium delays, The incessant Poch poaching rumours, Eriksen's leaving, top players missing for key matches coming up.......moan, whinge, moan.

Then I look at the League table and see that with all of that we are still 7 points ahead of Arsenal and United and 3rd in the table. With all the shit we deal with. And then I think we've qualified for the CL in the past 3 years, a feat that none of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool or United have managed. With a squad that has cost £98m net over 10 years and without a new player for 18 months.

And then I think that's not bad at all.......is it? Good luck lads, see you on Sunday at Fulham.
