Well that certainly shook the club and footballing world up a bit!

I've a strange feeling towards Jose at the moment and don't know what ti make of it. We all know it will eventually end in tears but we're likely to win something and enjoy the ride before we get to the obligatory meltdown, but who knows maybe he's learned, maybe not.

I think it's a huge statement of intent from the little slap head upstairs. If Jose can get the current crop of players performing as they can then gets a bit to spend over a couple of transfers windows then we could be good to have a go at the big trophies with a man who's gotten over the line plenty of times.

I'm trying to forget the Chelsea business atm as just want Spurs to be better and he's here now.

Whilst I'm sorry to see the back of Poch, I'm also already thinking we could win the FA cup now, even without knowing any early draws yet...

I'm not exactly over the moon but I'm quietly optimistic for results over 2-3 years period, and some form of trophy, and that's what it's all about.

I wonder how he will cope with not being loved by the fans like Poch was?Certainly Alan Sugar didnt handle the club well when Venables got all the adoration and Sugar felt he was the saviour.Jose having a siege menatlity at the club is one thing maybe a good thing, spurs vs the world, but if he gets sulky and insular because the fans need time, probably a lot of time for some,I guess for sure Poch will get sung about today or tues, will they sing for mourinho?will that faze him?.He dug out chelsea and man u fans,if he digs out spurs fans early cos they dont love him it will escalate quickly.Lets hope as he said he has learnt. He doesnt like losing, more so than the fans,we are used to it,if its a slow start can he be patient in himself.Poch`s first 3 months were slow until that Villa game, will Jose give himself 3 months and the fans wait that long?guess we will know after the first few results thats what will define right or wrong in his appoinment.

I expect his hardcore will be Kane,Dele and wait for it Dier,he has a good record of making good DM,essien, matic,if he can get Dier in the right area I expect a huge improvement in Dier 2.0.And then the frills to go with the core,Son,moura,lo celso, ndombele (who I think slightly more advanced infront of dier will be huge),as for the defence, well great players performing badly, toby, jan, rose,if they start playing again well maybe we have a chance here.Lots of potential waiting sessegnon, tanganga, parrott, skipp, winks, foyth, sanchez,if 2 or 3 of them break out in the next year then it will allow a more focused transfer on a few here&now difference players than a cull from a side playing like they should be 14th.

I’ve got a plan for dealing with the Mou era, and it’s worked so far. I just won’t listen to or read anything he says. I haven’t clicked on or watched any of his interviews—I’m told he said all the right things after getting hired, but I’ll take people’s word on that. I literally haven’t heard a single word he’s said as Tottenham manager and I plan on keeping it that way.

Today, I changed the channel to a Bundesliga game as soon as ours finished, so I wouldn’t have to hear him. I enjoyed the result without having to be reminded who the manager is. I think this might work.

I'm torn about Jose, but I do think Poch needed to go, and it kills me to say that. The memories he's created will always be there and wont be forgotten.
But, although a good coach, he did have a strong spine waiting for him to build around when he first came. Lloris, Vertonghen, Dembele, Eriksen and Kane were already here. And although he made some inspired signings like Dele, Son & Toby, he also signed Jansson, Fazio, Stambouli, Nkoudou, Yedlin, and more like that...
I also think, he showed nievity when it came to getting over the line in winning trophies and was tactically taught a lesson in the Cup semi against Mourinho in 2018, which I think can be the difference...
I'm a romantic...our cup wins in the 80's is what it's all about for me. Tony parks save, Tommy Hutchinson's right shoulder, Robert's fantastic run against QPR in 82, and Villa's magic Mourinho has the capability to create more memories like this..winning trophies. I just think Poch had lost the dressing room and looking at his lack of reaction when Bayern were putting 7 past us and failing to break down Colchester showed me and proved that even HIS hunger was over...Mourinho's biggest liability is himself. If he can sort that out, this could be the best managerial appointment.....but I do accept it could be the worst.

Soooooo in that tradition..........

I have to ask, as a man approaching his 40th I am sprouting a few grey hairs.
Now i ask the older members as they will be ideally placed to tell me, will my balls start sprouting grey hairs too?

I havent got any yet, but I would assume when my barnet starts to go grey my my balls will too....?

I know body hair (chest rug) will go as I had a pal a few years older who I trained with who had grey chest hair... but I never checked his pubes or balls out.....

And why does it happen? I know I could Google it but I assume its something to do with Testosterone levels declining with age???

Anyway that should start the railroading process...!

You wont be able to see grey hairs on yer nuts because one day past 40 they will hang like spaniels ears to your knees, you`ll find out 1st time you find you can actually sit on them.

Brilliant, this mother fucker is back off track.....!!!

This is now the thread we all need and want.

I have a few in my sideburns and get the odd one in my beard so I guess they are migrating south slowly.

I wonder if you can get a 'Sack Lift' @skiathospurs.....?

Also, what about hair in your ears and nose.... what the fuck is that about? Why do I need more of that now compared to being 35???

Wait until you pull one out of your nose mate, not only is that disgustingly old but they are chunkier once grey and really makes your eyes water.

Also and this could just be me but I need to keep a look out for the Frankie Howard eye brows these days - not a good look.
