I am really warming to the idea of Troy Deeney as a backup for Kane. His wages would be affordable and I think he'd be happy to play that role for a good club with prospects than play Championship Football under a different manager every week. He's got some proper shit in him too and can find a goal. If he's comfortable with reduced minutes and cup ties then we could do a lot worse.

Parrott on loan to Milwall makes all the sense in the world to me if they give him games. He needs proper matches now, not time developing on the training ground.

Tottenham will SNUB Inter Milan interest in Tanguy Ndombele and give him a chance to kick-start his Spurs career next season as chairman Daniel Levy does not want to give up on the £55m midfielder

Apparently holberg swap with KWP and £3m is done if the amount of chatter is to be believed.

He's a bit good, the new Moussa? OK, maybe not that good but quite a bit more gooder than Fatguy - and for £15m, that's the sort of money Levy likes to pay. personally I reckon he'd be a good buy.
Think it's a stretch to compare him to Moussa, but I agree that he'll be a good signing if we do get it over the line..he's a leader on the pitch, he shouts and gets stuck in...something that's been missing from our midfield for a long time.

ok, I know its Arsenal, however I would questions this if it was us.

They announced 55 redundancies and then offer Willian a 3 year deal where his weekly wage would probably cover the salaries of these people.

He is not an investment, as he has no sell on value when his contract is up He is not a marquee signing who will massively improve them. He will be a best a squad player. If I was one of those 55, I would be looking at this deal and feeling quote annoyed.

Unfortunately for those 55, that’s life. Any other club would do it, too.

no doubt these people are on the lower end of the pay scale as well,Its a spursy PR disaster, billionaire owner, offering a player 250k a week, with ozil on 350k and alledgedly willian being offered stupid money as well.As they say not good optics.

I would really be pissed if this was spurs, its not an anti-arsenal thing,I am not quite sure how tribunals view laying off people and then employing others on huge wages, certainly I know how the public will think.

Since it looks like it’s a done deal, I’ll go along with you both and accept him being the best thing since sliced Dembele. I’ve only seen him play for Southampton a few times and only his whining stood out for me, but if he can be turned into a solid DM I’ll love him.
