Difficult to look tough when you're 19 and grew up in Roehampton isn't it...........ha ha ha
Oi that was my mums manor!!thankfully moved out before I was born, though my brother was born in Barnes. My mum lived in the same block as the big lump that was Darth Vadar (not the voice) and the green cross code nonce from the 70s (same bloke).

Back to Ryan,I have big hopes, yes some are underwhelmed at his coming, but he is young has real pace,a fair amount of experience already and is ripe to moulded by Poch into a top player, another england regular from El Jefe coming up..Whether that is LB,as a winger, wouldnt suprise me if poch coached him into being Englands #1,he will develop a role for him.

Didn't know you were so posh. I hope he's the new Bale+ and we keep hold of him. The potential is definitely there.

ha ha ha......you wouldn't be allowed in with that stubbly beard and pony tail addition. Smarten yourself up a bit, pretend you work in the City and you could be a new chelsea fan ha ha. Meanwhile I'll see you for a beer and a sing song when you're over next. Can't wait to hear what the songsters do with Ndombele and Lo Celso........'he came from sunny Spain, to play at White Hart lane, Lo Celso' that tune didn't work so well for poor old Bob the Soldier.

Ryan Sessegnon hopes to begin #thfc training next week. Mauricio Pochettino plans to integrate the new signing slowly with his debut expected to be in mid-September, after the first international break

"It’s been coming. Every time I go on the pitch I try to be positive and in recent weeks when I’ve had the chance it’s probably been a bit negative. When I came to Spurs, it was tough at the start but I’m starting to find my feet and the more games I play the more confident I am

"I set my standards very high. Everyone sees that. Perhaps I am a bit hard on myself but that’s the way I am. I set the bar very high. Unless I reach those targets I’m not happy.

"To play under a coach like Mourinho is very tactical. He doesn’t like to concede goals, so I’m trying to adjust my game in a defensive way as well. He wants me to be aggressive, so that’s what I’m trying to do.

"You have to work on it. Over the years I’ve worked on trying to better myself, working hard in training, analysing my game and stuff like that. It comes with experience of games and stuff."

In an honest but surprisingly downbeat interview in Wednesday's match-day programme, Sessegnon revealed Tottenham had been "the most difficult period of my career so far" and admitted he had "lost confidence" while injured.

"It was tough, really tough," he explained. "It was my first serious injury and to come to a big club like this, I was trying to find my feet. I came back in training and then I felt it again, so it was tough. Thankfully I’m now pain-free and enjoying my football.

"Coming to the game quite young, I was used to playing every game without any type injuries. To come to a big club when I’m still young, still developing, still learning, to get an injury like that was mentally and physically tough. Thank God I’m pain-free now and I just want to keep playing games."

The youngster says his experience at Fulham, where he broke into the first team aged just 16, helped him cope with the situation.

"Last year in the Championship there were a lot of games and I had to adapt quickly and become a man very quickly," he said. "It’s part of game, some people come later, some come earlier. I’m no different, I just want to stay focused and start playing games."

He’s got a fair way to go but hope he makes it, Bale style. He has the potential but has looked out of his depth in recent games, Norwich in particular. End of next season if he gets the opportunity would probably be the tome to start judging. Good luck Sess

Hopefully some Bundesliga magic rubs off on him and our investment comes good.

I think playing in the Bundesliga is pretty much universally a good career choice for a lot of these guys, certainly better than getting loaned out to Burnley or somewhere. I haven't seen Hoffenheim so far this year--I know they gave Bayern a thrashing last week. I wonder if he'll be able to play in Europa League for them?

Coming to the back end of the season it’s time for this guy to grow a pair and show what he is worth and why we paid what we did for him.

Another classic Levy recruitment fuck up, could have got him for about £3m two years earlier and let him stay at Fulham for 6 months - like we did with Dele at MK…..but no couldn’t do something simple like that

I still rate him. To me, he looks like a player that just needs game time.

He looks like a rabbit in the headlights...

IMO, he needs to dig deep and decide if he wants to be a top player... the stupid mistakes need to be driven out of his game and only practice and hard work will do that.
