I’d snap Brighton’s hand off if Trossard was offered. Don’t know much about Poor Pedro, but sounds like we’re unlikely to pay the release clause anyway. I doubt we’ll buy a Hugo replacement in the winter window. Ultimately, though I will not believe Levy will spend much money until he has Conte’s signature on a new contract, and I’ll be stunned if he signs one.

IF... the Trissard rumours are true, how long has the fella kicked about until he has shown a bit of form...? Why is he just now starting to look like a player...?

Yes the guy can currently pick a pass and yes his contract is running out but is this really the fucking best we can do...?

An opportunistic lurch for a player who hasn't been on ANYONES radar until this season and just happens to maybe represent a cheap deal because his contract is still up in the air...

This club is fucking cheap. Levy is a cheap nasty little man who wouldn't know football if it rode him like Seabiscuit...!!!

Apparently Brighton have now triggered a one year option on Trossard's contract so that'll almost inevitably put another £10m (at least) on his valuation which Levy won't pay, so it'll be Grealish all over again when Levy thought he could low ball Villa with his usual offer of peanuts with 'add-ons'.

Real Madrid want to sign England striker Harry Kane for next season. The 29-year-old's current deal at Tottenham runs until 2024 and he could cost up to 100m euros (£88.3m). (Todofichajes - in Spanish)

Chelsea have joined Tottenham in wanting to sign Spain defender Pedro Porro this month but have hit the same issue as Spurs in any move for the 23-year-old as Sporting Lisbon want his €45m (£36.7m) release clause paid in full. (90 Min)

Reading that Sarr likely won’t be going out on loan this month.

We could have both Edwards and Porro for something like 55 mil. Doesn't really seem that crazy when Chelsea are paying 16 mil for a 4-month loan. Why are we so absurdly cheap? Why did we build this stadium? If it was to enhance a sale, then sell the damn club and move on. It is exhausting when we are outspent by mid-table clubs with few supporters.

The stadium was built for Gagas, silly games like rugby but in suits of armour, boxing, to increase the value of property holdings held offshore (allegedly),cheese room .... and way down the bottom of the list THFC.

It's because we have an owner who treats the club as a company rather than a football club. I'm sure I read that he valued the club at £4bn long before Abramovich sold up.

I know the Dark Lord gets a lot of shit, and deservedly so, but I certainly think you could make a case for him having to make sure the club is run within the constraints set by Lewis and this is probably a lot of the reason he's always low-balling clubs for players.

The problem is, the only people likely to have the kind of money Lewis wants for the club are the Saudis and are we willing to basically sell our souls just to get rid of Enic ?

Lucas apparently leaving on a free at the end of the season. As much as I’d have liked him to stay, it’s the least we could do for him.

I mean... easily a fan favourite and deserves everything he gets out of a free transfer back home...

Such a shame Conté hasn't given Lucas a run out more often as he would stick the effort in every minute he's on the field.

Blimey, I need to go to Supersavers - really I do, the specs wot I'm wearing at the moment are 8 years old. I read your last line as getting rid of Eric. Fucking blimey, I thought, surely there's an easier way of getting rid of Eric.

He's been injured... all year?

"About Lucas Moura, we didn’t have him from the start of the season. And we are continuing to not have him," explained the Italian. "He has this problem, he is struggling a lot to find a solution. For sure it’s a difficult situation. Because I have a good player in my squad, but he’s never available. It’s like you don’t have him.

"It’s a pity because I repeat: we are talking about a good player, a good guy, but he is struggling a lot to solve this problem. I don’t know, I don’t know what in the future happens about him."

That's a shame, he puts in a great effort - far more than most of our players, has great talent, but Conte obviously doesn't rate him. Little Lucas has been a great player for us and I hope he goes somewhere and wins something - ain't happening at at Spurs.

I do agree about Lucas. I love his passion for THFC, his workrate, and how much he seems to appreciate us fans.

All the best to him in the future.
