Typical you wait ages for a game then loads come along at the same time, I haven't even got my breath back from yesterday yet! Everyone knows how much I love the little man JD, he's a yiddo, but that love will be suspended for one night.

This really is a must play game!

Nice and quick out of the blocks here Dorset...good man!!!

Ive got a funny feeling in my water that this will be harder than it appears on paper. As soon as we step out on grass I think we may be in for a difficult night, they badly need a win and have some new blood, we'll need to be on top of our game. Hope everyone is back fit - Harry Toby and Danny.

Spurs to win by a single goal in an ugly battle.

Looking forward to a bit of mid week premier league action this week! Don't expect it to easy at all, but still expecting a win from the lads. Hopefully JD has a bad day at the office too!!!

If Jan made Liverpool on 11th February that would be nice and unexpected.

N'Koudou will also miss-out on Sunderland match tomorrow evening with Lamela & Trippier due to a knee problem which needs a scan.

Player in Training.
This will be a tough match away from home. It's not that long ago that they spoiled Liverpool's party. I'm hoping for a clean sheet (one can hope) and the odd goal.

Typically this game would clash with Liverpool.v. Chelsea, wanted to see that as well. I can only hope Liverpool get their act together and if not beat them (and lets face it, they only have the league left for motivation, so they really need to win to close the gap) at least get a draw.

All the above however is irrelevant if we don't do our job.

3 points please and lets keep the league alive.

It's a proper o'clock kick off time over here for me. Still, I've got a few beers left in the fridge from the oil riggers game so I should be OK?

Back to full strength with the exception of Jan Vertonghen I guess. I think Kevin Wimmer is in a little bit of a sticky patch at the moment and hasn't looked like he has much confidence on the ball or without it. I'm not sure how I'd feel with him starting. Maybe Ben Davies could fill in for Jan Vertonghen, mind, that's if we are going with the back three routine. I'd go with a back four in this game to be honest though.

Lloris

Walker - Dier - Alderweireld - Rose

Wanyama - Dembele

Son - Alli - Eriksen

Kane

Vorm, Carter-Vickers, Davies, Winks, Sissoko, Onomah, Janssen

Good news Lawro has us to have a shock&lose 1-0 !!

Lee Mason is the ref,likes a yellow card 46 in 12 games,but not red 2 reds (1 for a 2nd yellow),but gives a penalty in 50% of his matches.
Did the city Burnley game 7 yellows 1 red that set Pep off.

ICYMI for Boro we have clattenburg  world referee of the year I kid you not.

Don't knock old Mark....he gave us the penalty at City last season when the ball came off Sterlings ribs, I mean arm and kept Dier and Mousa on the pitch when we were knocking lumps out of Chelsea. He also gave us the penalty at Arsenal this year, and oversaw the Scum and City losses to Everton. What's not to like??

Fair enough when he first started he was shit, the Mendes goal at Old Trafford was the biggest bloomer, but that was really down to the linesman and the cheating United bastards.

Bad feeling about this one. Don't know why, form and past results suggests a win.

I know it's weird and completely irrational, guess it's the old Spursy mindset, which we haven't quite got rid of..... yet. Love Defoe but hope he doesn't score, I don't want to see him do one of those non-celebration things.

Good luck lads, a couple of ugly wins this week would be good, get ourselves set up nicely for Liverpool away.

confirmation...

Sunderland duo Didier Ndong and Lamine Kone could be involved after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations.

Papy Djilobodji begins a four-match ban, while Bryan Oviedo and Darron Gibson joined too late from Everton to be eligible on Tuesday.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has recovered from the minor groin injury which ruled him out on Saturday.

Defenders Danny Rose and Toby Alderweireld are also fit, but Kieran Trippier is out with a hip problem.
