West Bromwich Albion have parted company with manager Alan Pardew after eight successive league defeats.
The 56-year-old was appointed on 29 November after the Baggies sacked Tony Pulis following a run of 10 Premier League games without a victory.

Fucking good, the way that Ben Foster cheated his way to a point at Wembley?

Good riddance.

Useless arrogant wanker. Could have waited until after we'd played them....they got a draw at Wembley after they sacked Pulis.

Moyes and Allardyce have both gone.....

Manager David Moyes has left West Ham after just over six months in charge despite guiding the club to Premier League survival. Moyes, 55, took over from Slaven Bilic on a short-term contract in November with the club in the relegation zone.

West Ham secured safety with two games to spare and finished 13th. Moyes met senior figures at the club on Monday. The former Everton and Manchester United boss recorded nine wins and 10 draws from 31 games as West Ham boss.

"When David and his team arrived, it was the wish of both parties that the focus be only on the six months until the end of the season, at which point a decision would be made with regards to the future," said West Ham joint-chairman David Sullivan. "We feel that it is right to move in a different direction. We aim to appoint a high-calibre figure who we feel will lead the club into an exciting future for our loyal supporters within the next 10 days."

Moyes' assistants Alan Irvine, Stuart Pearce and Billy McKinlay have also left with immediate effect.

'Even Guardiola took a bit of time to get his team right'

David Moyes took over at West Ham from Slaven Bilic in November with the club in the relegation zone. West Ham finished nine points clear of the drop zone, after earning seven points out of the last nine.

Moyes' last game in charge was a 3-1 win over Everton on Sunday, after which he suggested his preference was to stay beyond this season. "Everybody always thinks the grass is greener and there's something better out there. I would say more often than not I bet you it's proved wrong," said Moyes.

"We've shown we're trying to improve. I don't know if anybody can come and make that big a difference in six months. Even Pep Guardiola took a bit of time to get his team right. "I'd think you'd need to give a bit longer. But every manager now is in transit. I don't think there is a long period."

Sam Allardyce has been sacked as Everton manager after six months.

The 63-year-old signed a contract until June 2019 when he took over in November following Ronald Koeman's dismissal. Everton, who were 13th in the Premier League when Allardyce arrived, finished the season in eighth.

Allardyce has been heavily criticised by fans for his management and Everton's style of play since he took over and the club said the decision was part of their "longer-term plan".

Moyes should just pack football management in. His sides have been shocking since he left the toffees, pikeys, sunderland, manure and the Spanish one.

What's the likelihood that he ends up back at Everton?

Moyes will be remembered for perpetrating some of the most negative tripe ever seen on a football field. The sport desperately needs this morose prick to give it away now.

And Big Sam, well he is just a plodder of a manager. I don't dislike him, but there is nothing at all remarkable about the man.

So I make that 3 managers for stoke, swansea, west ham, west brom, everton in less than 12 months.Crazy times, also this year palace, watford, arsenal, leicester&southampton also fired managers,if Conte goes that is 11 clubs, +50% of the league changing management and backroom staff.

You have to say burnley allowing Dyche to take them down and then back up without pulling the trigger was a wise move, though it doesnt seem anyone learnt from that.

Been a good thread this, have to say we were all wrong about hodgson when reading back,i dont mind him,he is intelligent when he speaks about football, england probably a level too much, which goes to show, often a step upwards will actually lead to several steps backwards,Just ask hodgson, martinez or moyes about that.

Think he did pretty well with Sevilla though....which means limited success for Woolwich. The English won’t be a problem they have t got any British players apart from that wart Wilshere

Real Madrid have made contact with former Chelsea and Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas about succeeding Zinedine Zidane as manager.

If this doesn't happen, I suggest David Moyes keeps his phone handy.......

So big question, how long can we pray United dont replace Jose??The longer the better for us,if he can just hang on until december that should be enough for this season.

The other candidate will be warnock,I can see him beating Jose to 1st place this year, they have a chairman with little history of sense or tradition.
