not if we get barca, psg, juve or bayern!! :)
You watching the ashes atm? so far so good eh!!

It was a very odd day one. The Aussie quicks didn't exactly intimidate and the inexperienced English batsmen looked comfortable for the most part.

A lot of us Aussies are predicting a whitewash but I just don't see it. Our batting is pretty dodgy.....Shaun Marsh at 6 makes me nervous as hell. The guy rarely makes runs, even when he is not injured.

Looking at the CL, we can't draw Barca or PSG and we obviously avoid Real Madrid now (although in reality, we cleaned their clock anyway). Bayern and Juve are the really dangerous sides that we can draw in round two but right now we'd fancy our chances against both of them.

yup you are right with barca, bayern could top PSG with a 3-0,anyway imagine being city or united, chelsea winning your group and add getting Real into the mix!!I admit i dont avidily follow european teams in general, but saw napoli vs city, they look a dangerous outfit, and sevilla just have a lot of winning experience in europe.Anyhow any advantage is only for one round then its luck of the draw.
On our day we can top anyone, and surely must believe that now, bring whoever on.

Just been looking at the UEFA coefficient rankings and though it is only up to date as 2nd nov we have climbed from 21st to 19th & think we have now jumped leverkusen to 18th now.Probably tough to jump anyone else this year except maybe zenit, but its good to be in the top 16 as then no matter who qualifies you will be in the top 2 seedings, and join the rich get richer club!

Roma also look like they could be a handful on their day. I'd be interested to know what clubs and their fans from other countries think of the prospect of meeting us. Obviously in modern football we haven't got a massive european pedigree so I reckon they'd all fancy a crack at us. Also the lure of playing at Wembley. Everyone who we fancy, I bet they'd fancy us too.

In other news I actually watched the other games from this week (I don't usually bother watching football if it's not Spurs). I have to say It'll take a good effort by anyone else, including City, for PSG not to win it this year. They look fantastic. Cunts.

It will help us as a country as well to keep 4 places....we might overtake Germany at this rate.

Some very good footballers on show in Bayern vs PSG....

Now 2-0 to the Bosch. 2 counter attacks and now the overpaid glamour pussies of PSG are getting a bit feisty. Not quite Battle of the Bridge but it's got potential....if Bayern win by 4 they replace PSG at the top of the group. We wouldn't want to draw either of these two at this stage.

So we can get any of: Basel, Bayern, Juventus, Porto, Shaktar, Sevilla.

Reckon we could beat most of those, Bayern and Juve would be tough, not impossible but tough. Shaktar don't play again now until February.

Incidentally has anyone realised that we gained more points than any other team...Yep Spurs were the best performing team in the. Champions League so far.

Draw is on 11th December 10.45am it will be interesting to see if PSG avoid Juve and Real...#conspiracytheory

Round of 16 - match dates
As a seeded group winner, we will be away in the Round of 16 first leg on either 13/14 or 20/21 February and then home in the return matches on either 6/7 or 13/14 March.

In case you missed it, our U19's are also playing the same teams as in our Champions League group in the U19 version.

Just as the senior squad did we topped the group and are through to the last 16 at this level as well, having drawn and beaten Madrid along the way. We beat Apoel yesterday afternoon 4-1, captained by Marcus Edwards, who also scored and hit the bar from the penalty spot.

I'd like anyone but Bayern really. We could beat them but I'd prefer a less arse twitching tie at this point. I'd take Juventus for the big game feel, but ideally Porto. Kinda big game feel but they aren't that good lol.

Tottenham have earned the most Champions League prize money in 2017/18 so far after sailing through their tough group without a defeat. Spurs have raked in around £18.6million for qualification to the knockout rounds including bonus money for their five wins and one draw

I thought it would be more than that. Still, not bad for 6 nights work.
