Bayern and city have came through there pretty sweet. Everyone else has a proper game on their hands.

Happy enough to have drawn Juventus. Tough fixture but definitely beatable!!

Looks like I'll have to try and book some flights for the home leg.

Well 3 English sides got cracking draws, us and the chavs got tougher ones, but we've beaten them once this year so we'll just have to go and do it again. We definitely can and I think we will. Bring it on, proper big boys football, eh Gooners?

I am glad we got a tougher draw. If we have everyone healthy I think we have a better team. I have a good feeling we will win. If we do we could potentially have an easier draw in the next round. Guess it doesn't matter. You've got to beat great teams regardless so why not cross the defending Italian champs off our list. Our boys will get it done! COYS!

Just play like we did against madrid and it don't not never ever matter who we get, we will win. It's easy this Champions League doofus, we just have to win 3 home/away games and then the final and we get the shiney precious and how sweet would the chanting be at the next one million NLDs????

It's easier to win than the FA Cup FFS.....

I hadn't thought of that, but you are correct - and we get two bites at the delicious marzipan coated cherry, fuck up in the FA Cup and you're doomed, fuck up in the CL and you get another chance in the 2nd leg.

I’m excited about the draw, this is what it’s all about. We’ve won a very tough group, no reason not to feel confident.

Looking forward to it.
This is what playing in the CL is all about: big fixtures.

The only little regret I may have is seeing out boys consoling a tearful Buffon on his CL exit & retirement.

I've got a hotel booked in Turin for Feb 13th.....flight's a bit pricey, going to have to go to Milan and get a train I reckon. Anyone got a ticket??? Or a friend with 900 loyalty points that doesn't want to go??

Please

I'm thinking to go as well @Don Diaz. Haven't sorted it out with the Mrs and thinking of how to approach it but I can get a single from Liverpool to Bergamo (Milan) on Monday 12th for 32 quid and a flight back from Bergamo to Mancunia on Wednesday 14th for 20 quid!!! Plenty of Airbnb's in Turin for a good price and return train from milan to turin can be bought for about 25-30 euro's..... Just gotta square it up with the Mrs and wait for a couple of invoice to clear and I'm doing it. She's gonna be pissed off but she'll either get over it or not....

Briefly mentioned it to the Mrs and she said she fancies a few days in Italy too! Winner!!!!!! @Don Diaz check fliughts from up north if its not too much of a pain for you and buy them as two singles instead of a return as it seems a lot cheaper that way, Liverpool and Manchester airport still have good prices to Milan.

Nothing displayed by either Real Madrid or PSG this morning will have any of the surviving teams overly concerned.

I heard L'Arse are playing on an artificial surface in Sweden.
I thought that turf fields were prohibited at this level?

We played on a synthetic deck against Young Boys during CL qualification in 2010.

Not sure what the Europa League regulations are though. :p

How the fuck does Paulinho get a game for Barca?? He's just directed a free header off target from 8 yards out and given the ball away from which Chelsea hit the post. Have Barcelona fallen so far???

Not much (apart from Messi) to worry about these days from Barca. As long as you play 9 men behind the ball, like Chelsea did for most of the match.

Chelsea a bit unlucky not to get something there.

Barcelona had 70% of the ball and did sweet fuck all with it....really they could have gone back to the Nou Camp a couple of goals down.
