If we can sell 85k we will set the new english home attendance record!!
Manchester City have the record at 84,467.

ICYMI This was Arse`s biggest attendance in CL at wembley (capacity was 82k then though)
30 September 1998 Panathinaikos Champions League 73,455

Average crowds 35 years ago 1981/82

Arsenal 25,589 lol
Chelsea 13,132 FPMSL
Liverpool 35,061
Man C 34,063
Man U 44,571
Newcastle 17,276
Spurs 35,100

And whilst I am at it 1st PL avg season attendances 92/93

Tottenham Hotspur 27,878
Arsenal 24,403
Chelsea 18,754
No figures available for wet spam, why is that then?:D

New "home" attendance record and it's not even our home.

Seems to be a trend too, Man U biggest was at Maine Rd and the scums wasn't in Woolwich.

91 semi final, the scum also couldn't sell their allocation, so about 4000 of their tickets got reallocated to us. I spent 7 hours queueing only to have the sold out sign go up when I was just a couple of feet away from the box office.:(

Only Barcelona will have a higher CL attendance than #THFC next week after we sold out our full allocation @ Wembley for AS Monaco

Looks like the record is ours.

To much red though in that picture, in fact we should start a campaign for everyone going to refuse to sit on the Wembley red chairs. Will keep the stewards busy.

Ah mate, I'll tell you, what, you missed an epic game there !!! I was right behind Gazza on his run up and could see it drifting in ,,and was cheering before it hit the onion bag, and then enjoyed Linekars goal in the 2nd half........Onemof those magical Yid days out !! .sorry to rub it in......( ps I didn't get a final ticket and waited outside until the final whistle, and managed to sneak in and see the cup being lifted.....and there were 100's leaving before half time and full time and they still wouldn't let us in, bastards

Have any of the UK based lads had their tickets arrive in the post yet?

Yes mate, I got mine last week, but received an email, saying tickets for fans from Ireland and Europe need to pick them up from Wembley on the day........if I can find the email I'll try and post it, but I normally dump things that don't concern me

Classic times. Unbelievable that people were actually leaving at half time for a cup final.

I don't want to rub salt in any wounds but it was on a par with the 81 Cup final replay for me and I was lucky enough to be at both....

Still have the tickets for both games.

Magical times that I will never forget.

I was lower tunnel end just to the right of the tunnel, and had a perfect view of gazza and seamans 2nd half gaff.I remember going "No gazza FFS aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargggggggghhhhhhhh yesssssssssssssss" and similar a loud sign when Lineker shot tamely but then mental as it squirmed through Seaman. An excellent day out,got home just in time to see the end of forest absolutly smashing west ham and in a hugely drunken state,i remember in the evening when Woosnam won the US open and my mate had £200 each way on him at 20/1 and going mental again. One of my best spurs days, probably not as good as 84 though, but thats marginal.

Seriously are they going to host a frigging world cup??
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...not-to-wear-club-colours-in-moscow-next-week/
Tottenham Hotspur took the unprecedented step on Thursday of warning their fans not to wear club colours when travelling to Moscow for the first meeting between teams from England and Russia since the brutal violence that marred the countries’ European Championship match.

Spurs and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) both issued formal travel advice to supporters ahead of the club’s Champions League trip to face CSKA Moscow on Tuesday, which takes place less than three months after Euro 2016.The secretary of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust also urged fans attending the match to be “more vigilant” in light of the “awful” scenes in Marseille and Lille, in which CSKA fans were involved and which almost led to England and Russia being thrown out of Euro 2016.
Most of the official travel advice was the same normally given to Spurs supporters ahead of their European away games.

However, the club and FCO both issued an additional warning about the wearing of club colours anywhere other than during Tuesday’s match at the Arena CSKA.
Spurs’ advice read: “Please note, for additional personal security, it is suggested that you do not show your football colours until you are inside the stadium.

“Whilst flags and banners are welcome at the stadium, we recommend that they are not openly shown in the city centre.”

The advice for supporters to be inconspicuous while in Moscow came in the wake of June’s Euro 2016 fixture at which England fans were deliberately targeted by vicious Russian hooligans.

Dozens of England supporters were injured, with one left fighting for his life in a coma, after black-T-shirted thugs sporting knuckledusters and mouth-guards went on the rampage in Marseille’s old town before the countries’ June 11 fixture.
Russian fans attacked again inside the Stade Velodrome at the end of the sides’ 1-1 draw, while hostilities resumed days later ahead of their next matches in Lille and Lens.

The T-shirts worn by some of the Russian hooligans, who had publicly threatened violence during the build-up to the game, featured the names of CSKA and Lokomotiv Moscow.

Spurs said on Thursday they had no intelligence CSKA fans were planning a similar ambush next week, insisting they had no fears of a repeat.

No more than 250 supporters are expected to travel to Moscow and those who do will go either individually or in small groups, unlike the thousands of England fans who descended en masse on Marseille.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed a “small number” of its officers would be on duty for Tuesday’s game, with a spokesman telling The Telegraph: “We have links with the Russian police and will be working closely with them.”

The club, who are not offering official supporters’ transport for the match, are also expected to bring some of their own stewards.

Supporters’ Trust secretary Katrina Law said: “Obviously, it’s up to everybody to be a little bit more vigilant than they perhaps normally would.

“We’re always concerned about the safety of our fans but if the club are confident and the Foreign Office are saying that it’s fine to travel there, and they’ve take enough precautions to make sure that our fans will be in the stadium safely, then that’s our bit.

“We can’t legislate for what individual travellers will do when they’re over there.

“You’ve got to be a bit respectful as well. You’re going to someone else’s city, so the club are always very keen on, ‘Don’t display your flags over their historic monuments’, and that kind of thing that is going to wind people up.

“It’s a real shame if fans didn’t want to explore – Moscow’s a great city. I would fully expect them to go off and do their little tourist bit but perhaps not draped head to toe in lilywhite and blue.”

The official site is also showing sold out against CSKA on 7th December, when I expect even more tickets will become available, with fewer Russian fans than Germans attending?
