Looked like he genuinely cared last night for the first time since Aston Villa.

Yes, but he was still shite.
He wasnt as good as he can be.... a couple of those balls into the box were superb...

He just doesn't look like he gives a fuck.

Which to be fair, if Vert's is balls deep in his Mrs, he probably doesnt.

So we do now think there might be something to this rumour?

Mourinho on Eriksen if he leaves
“The Christian situation is your situation at the moment. Yours and Inter, because people with responsibilities speaking about it is also their situation. At the moment it is not my situation.”

I just can't understand why he's still getting picked. What does JM owe to CE? He's clearly already left mentally, and he's not going to be a great producer for Maureen long term no matter how he plays now. So why put him out there at all when we have other players (Skipp springs to mind) desperate for a game?

I've been wondering this myself. Eriksen has been a liability in recent games, a passenger. Yet he still gets picked ahead of the likes of Skipp etc...In fairness to Eriksen, nowadays they have agents warning them to not be stupid and go into 50/50 challenges or risk injury when theres a pay day coming...he's been brilliant for us for nearly 7 years now, He owes us nothing. Good luck to him....

In his and any managers defence its largely down to risk and reward.T`was Ideal for Poch, outside of champions league, so not so sketchy to pick mason, kane, townsend, bentaleb those early games, same with lampard and solsjkaer, not so much to lose with a transfer ban or being outside of top 4 and the money.Once we were in the top 4 club it became harder to pick KWP,skipp, tanganga etc because of the risk to losing CL status. It has been the same for Jose so far,but as the chances of top 4 diminish the risk to picking cirkin, skipp, parrott, tanganga reduces.

I dont like that most (even poch) arent brave enough to just let fly with more academy players, but their jobs are on the line because Levy has no hair cos its all in his trigger. In some ways its a natural cycle,be shit bring the youth in,get some status become too afraid to chance it with inexperience. And in fairness to Jose he gave yaniteds youth much more of a go than that clog wearing clown.

Since august I havent understood why skipp, parrott, tanganga in particular havent been involved more, not least because how could they have been worse in the match day squad than quite a few.

My gosh, Vlad was just a disaster at times. It's amazing that we have such better players now yet we're more or less in the same position. Funny ole game.

Goodbye to one of my favorite Spurs players ever. Such a shame that I'm not sorry to see him go.
