I think the point I was trying to make was that we are in fact playing very well, most points in a calendar year ever, better points and goals than last season etc. it just doesn't feel like it somehow....and that is a really good thing because it tends to mean that things will get even better. The difference this year of course is that all the teams around us have made seismic changes to improve.

Interestingly or spookily our 19th, middle of the season game last year was also Watford away - we won that of course.

I don't think the changes are really seismic, a bit wobbly on the old Richter scale but not as much as we all think. The dippers and the chavs are the teams that have made big improvements, the dippers have 13 more points and the chavs 27!!!! The scum have 1 more point than last year, City , United and us have 4 more than this time last year, so if you remove Leicester from the equation because they have crashed to the ground with 21 less points the real terms change is we have one more serious rival than last year. OK, I'm playing with the stats but that's what they are for innit?

When we beat Watford and the chavs we will be at most 7 points from the top with 17 games to play, if Stoke duff over the chavs then that could be just 4 points, I think, I haven't put a lot of effort into the calculations so son't go all Moe on me if I am wrong eh?

This season still has a lot of potential, we can easily win the FA Cup, the Europa League and the Premiership, the treble is on!
