Mourinho on Lloris
Hugo Lloris is back in training - but Mourinho isn’t giving any potential return dates yet, stating only early February.

I told [you] one month ago, I said February. So the normal thing is February. If you ask me late February or early February, at this moment I go more for early. Things are going well. He’s getting his confidence back, he’s training so I would say he’s one of our new players in the January transfer window.

Well if he goes to retire at PSG , then go and thank you for your service l he and Poch used to eat meals together almost daily .
if this was to happen I’d go for Henderson, Pope or the West Brom goalie if we were looking for someone from the Prem. my son still rates Oblak , but reckons ged cost quite a lot

I like Pope. Solid keeper.

To be honest if I was going for a keeper in the prem it would be Martinez at Villa. I know he played for Arsenal but he is class and only 28.

Made up he has signed a contract extension with us and honestly been one of our best players in recent times. Has been very consistent this season and in my top 5 GK in the league.

Apparently he said in an interview--couldn't find it anywhere--that he sees part of his job moving forward as helping the club get a proper replacement bedded in. I don't think he was talking about Gollini.

Why didn’t he dive for Ziyech’s shot last night?

I said this bro. I think, while it was absolutely pin point and about as much in the stantion as you can get it... Hugo thought it was going over/wide and he realised too late that it was dipping right into the corner...

I think it was a mistake, but I don't blame him because Ziyech made him make that mistake by executing his effort perfectly.

Wow. Today's one of those days that make you feel old. First Bale retiring outright and now Hugo steps away from France. I'd be surprised if it wasn't his last year with the club as well.

Yeah he can stop shots... but his footballing brain seems to have always been on the Vino...!

But that's it. He's always been a great shot stopper but never filled me with confidence. Stays welded to his line far too often. Still a great servant for us though and serious respect for his achievements for his country in fairness.

This might be a blessing in disguise. Pretty much undroppable because of his history - and therefore his status in the dressing room - and the dearth of alternatives, but here's a chance to move on in the goal and with the armband, all with no disrespect to a man who has been very, very good, but probably isn't any longer.

Yeah, I'm not slagging him... he's saved us more than he's cost us... 100%

it’s strange you think that, because he is sometimes considered the PL first “Sweeper Keeper”. I remember many times he would come flying off his line to make a save.

On crosses ?? Because that's what I'm referring to obviously. If you think he's dominant in the box on crosses then we're talking about 2 different keepers.

Not expected to play again this season apparently.

People talking like he’s played his last game for us full stop and that it will be remembered as the 6-1 against Newcastle.

Yay... another one deserts the sinking ship...

Loosing your team and club captain in one transfer window...

GO TEAM LEVY...

Now being widely reported that he’s almost certain to leave at the end of the season as the club will release him on a free.

So his final game looks like it was indeed the 6-1 twatting from Newcastle

And now it's "official" as he's openly stated his desire to leave.
