Brugge expected us to match the offer not just the money other factors. It’s all getting odd from what I’ve been fed.

Club have pulled away now and don’t want to entertain the circus Brugge have created after positive convos with both club and camp for some time. Everything was set with him and his project to come here in the summer . Our idea changed on this with ange seeing a need to get him now price went up and we thought we could sit on it so Brugge would come back down . They invited clubs to the table last week as I stated to push their price up and bring us higher we didn’t budge but still felt like we had the cards so seemed confident. Lo and behold Brentford Newcastle Brighton started circling and went for it with Bruges conditions. The player I believe has preferences Brentford due to certain verbal agreements and Scandinavian ties which could help him settle and grow quicker then coming to spurs which he had agreed to if the clubs could settle the price. I just hope this won’t be a player in 2/3 years goes for stupid money and we look back and think wtf but he might not be . It’s the nature of deals I’m afraid you win some you lose some.

the ones we would want will be out of reach not just on price but competition. That’s why this strategy is key with our current standing . Ideally a Williams or Neto would be lovely but unless we get a clear run they will have better suitors right now it’s just the nature of the beast . We do like the look of ibrahim osman but nothing concrete on that yet.

nothings changed on this FWIW . Skipp or hoijberg would ideally need to vacate . Pierre is fussy and the clubs he wants won’t pay the money we want and palace might give us the money for skipp to Facilitate Gallagher but a lot would have to happen right now it’s unlikely .

We do want Connor and it wouldn’t shock me if spurs took that risk but I’ve been told right now it’s a stretch and too difficult to do.

Subject: Neto and next summer transfer plans

Would have to get this one done early if we go for it too many interested parties in Neto which could drive a bidding war and the club don’t entertain that. He’s keen on our project tho the agent might be a bastard to deal with to . Wolves will want north of 60m I love the player but maybe there’s better in the market if we look hard enough . But would be a marquee signing ✍🏿. We have a keen eye on a talent in La liga could be gettable in the summer and we are keeping an eye on him strongly cannot reveal tho yet. Raphina is another we are looking at but right now it’s just an intrest and I don’t think with the fee and age it goes against what we are doing atm .

Ange tho deffo wants a specialist winger who can isolate his defender in attacking transitions and offer abit of stardust comparable with Sonny .

Priority in order for summer right now :

IN
Wing forward
Deep lying midfielder
ST
Gk
LB Cover

OUT
Spence (not favoured)
Forster (need a system keeper)
Sess (not reliable )
Gil (not favoured
Tanguy (not favoured)
Lo celso (contract and injuries)
Pierre (wants to go and contract )
Reg (not favoured)
Rodon (not favoured)
Dier (gone)
Persic (gone)
Werner (if we don’t activate but think we will)
Solomon (might be able to generate funds)

I may have missed 1-2 but that’s how I’m seeing it right now obviously easier said then done but I think that’s the idea .

Told there is strong interest in Fofana.

Edit: I'd better clarify this is Youssouf Fofana from Monaco not the vastly overpriced Chelsea gimp.

Ange has boards full support , we were expecting up and down season , the squad needed huge overhaul , both johan , Fabio and ange knew it was going to take 3 to 4 windows to get right

we are back to the days of scouting young talent with huge ceiling before they get to the madrids , Barca and city like we did with Luca and bale , so you look at Brennan and Mickey and udogie they are all in that 20/21 age bracket and players do not hit their peak until 23/24 we need to be patient for them to hit their ceiling

this summer will be a huge overhaul , with the exception of first choice back 5 ,drags , madds , bentacur , sarr , sonny and Brennan we are open to offers for everyone else and in many cases encouraging offers , it’s no secret that ange does not think our front 3 is anywhere near the level it should be

we will try for Conor Gallagher again and we will be in for eze , ange is going to be heavily heavily backed this summer

much of how successful ange will be will be how well he intergrates the kids the next two years I cannot begin to express how good donley , Moore , Dorrington and the Swedish kid bergdal are we have incredible talents coming through

Not really one thing that is be coming more and more apparent is that for Anges system to work technical ability is going to be key over pretty much every other skill set. It seems keeping the ball is going to be our best form of defence in this way of playing. When we lose it it's a foot race back to our box so the less often we lose it stupidly the better.

I'd be very surprised if we go after a destroyer like most are hoping for.

Told by someone who would know, that we are keeping an eye on Jordan James' situation. Sounds a bit like what we did with Scott last season from what they said, and we know how that turned out.
Leicester have already spoken to Birmingham and his reps.

Personally I think I'd rather risk £8-10mil on this kid who has massive potential(plays like a young Stevie Gerrard imo) than blow £50mil+ on Gallagher.

The club plans to discuss Connor Gallagher's situation at the end of the season to determine if an early move is feasible. Currently, there are no ongoing contract talks with Chelsea. However, the future is uncertain. Ange is looking to overhaul the midfield, and players like Bentancur, Bissouma, Lo Celso, and Højbjerg might leave if the right offers come in. The expectation is that Bentancur will be given an opportunity to complete a full pre-season to see if he can achieve his former levels.

Alex banea is still highly regarded. A marquee winger is non negotiable for ange. Striker is also seen as a priority with a cm . Anything else will be shaped around player movement .

keep an eye on Sancho we still do hold an interest from before his dortmund days . Nothing firm with talks but it’s being explored potentially .

Sancho not going to reduce his wages by 50%. From what I’m hearing, we do not have the budget neeed. Let’s see how this develops

Interesting you mention him, heard nothing personally but heard we were looking at another Japanese lad, Kuryu Matsuki (Midfielder, plays for Tokyo). Just looked him up and it appears they have the same representation.

The club have moved now to see if a deal for Connor can be done. If it’s not concluded within the next month I’m not confident we will return again and move on to other options .

For me, this lad has had a good season or two in reasonably poor Chelsea sides. They look more and more like they actually don't need him due to their £100m+ superstar Caicedo coming into some form.

For me, we can't be held to ransom on the fee or wages because I don't think he is a worldie upgrade and we could probably spend our money much better.

Maybe the English thing plays a part in order to comply with HG players etc, but we're looking at some kids to sit on the bench to meet (actually circumvent) this requirement.

We really like both Lois Openda and sesko . They have been discussing this week with Leipzig after talks with Werner .

To add olmo as well but he hasn’t come back yet 😅
we have declared are interest and deliver the project(PowerPoint)😜 a while back but his reps have informed us he hasn’t decided his next move and we have heard since we have spoken to rb about him . Maybe the player wants to wait till after the euros I’m thinking

It’s quite common we have to show intrest in all targets for our positions we are looking to recruit . If we fail with option a it would be naive to think b,c,d would come without any effort being in play fab taught us this haha 😂

Sesko: he seems to have what we want . There’s a heck load of intrest tho and we would have to make a steal here . A lot of clubs seeking a no 9 this window .

The easier one to do even tho it’s very tough if he wants us is sesko believe it or not as he has a realise clause which we can activate but it’s not our style to do this without building bridges with his club . But if he stays Openda may be achievable it ain’t certain liepzig haven’t said no it’s all about money and being serious not taking all Summer to firm it up .

Olma: We really really like him villa do to aswell as Barca .

Villa can’t spend! Not got now anyway. They can be as keen as they want. Unless they have a dodgy magician behind them

I'm sure Ange has told the powers that be exactly what he needs and what he feels are his priority positions. However we look at it the money we have to spend in any one window is finite. We will strengthen as much as we can and in the area's Ange feels are most important imo.

Was told earlier Man Utd have enquired about cuti Romero

Club are hopeful of tying him down on a big fat contract on a 2 year extension making him one of the big earners this year .

Door was slammed politely . I’d imagine them see a partnership with Martinez would be a very short partnership .

Adding to this we need to get this window right so players like Romero etc can see light at end of a vison . The plan they have if comes to fruition will be a good building block to make that a reality .
