What a stupid time to have a football match on a ferking Saturday! I was planning on going to this game, but how the feck am I supposed to get home from ferking Wembley in the middle of the night / Sunday morning?

This game doesn't mean a lot really, apart from pride. Beating city will fill the blokes with pridey stuff and we will go on to grab 2nd place and win the FA Cup, that will be nice. We are the only unbeaten Premier League side this calendar year (meaningless, but sounds nice),we have won six on the bounce in the premiership, let's make it seven!

Thank fuck for that.....I was quite jittery all day yesterday not having a match day thread to spout a bit of nonsense on. I even had to announce the referee for this match in a completely random place elsewhere, it's Jon (no h) Moss, same bloke who did our away game at Liverpool. Not to be confused with Jon Moss, the drummer from Culture Club and Boy George's old boyfriend. He'd be a shit referee. So we need two more penalties please Jon, Harry needs some goals where it is definitely him that puts the ball in the net.

As for the rest of it well who knows? City got embarassed by Liverpool after their coach (not Pep) got attacked and then embarassed by United after leading 2-0 and cruising. Maybe they're just a teeny bit complacent, I don't know. Anyway they've got a tough game tonight and then another one on Saturday. We might have an eye on the FA Cup Semi the following weekend and Brighton in between, I don't know.

We'll go for it again, Liverpool style or just Poch usual bravery. I'm hoping for a win, fearing a loss and reckon it will be a draw, let's say 2-2. I'm going with my daughter, who's first game was Man City about 15 years ago and it was 1-1. She's bringing her Mancunian boyfriend and his Dad, so if we lose I'm going to grass them up and watch them get beaten up.

New Premier league attendance record this Saturday. COYS

Looking forward to this game. After watching United against them I'm pretty confident.

I'll be in a plane at 11 at the stadium by 2 lol

Who knows how they'll respond to what happened tonight. This game just got a lot more interesting (for the neutral, I've been looking forward to it for a long time).

They looked emotionally spent at the end, United, then out of the Champions League to Liverpool, with Pep in the stands. They're rock bottom which could be good or bad. I think it's good for us, especially if we get an early goal. Bring them on.....money can't buy everything, thank god

Time for our top boys to stand up and be counted. This is another one of those season defining games not necessarily a must win by any means but one that could easily help shape what we end up with.

Yeah, regardless of CL qualification being pretty close to assured this is a big game for us, especially with how it went at their place.

Yep agreed, this is a biggie in terms of stature, we don't need to but it would be a brilliant one to win.

Just beat me to it, I was surprised that we have sent him all the way to Qatar and that there is not a facility closer to home, including our own training centre + specialist.

What’s up with Hugo? He has now been at fault for 3 goals in the last 3 games

Were the boys out getting trashed last night?! We look scared every time City come forward and we can barely string a pass together. Abysmal 1st 30 odd mins. Very confused by this start. C’mon lads, get to half time and let’s sort this shit out!
