It's brilliant, I wonder if it's all on schedule?

It is so people really ITK say,but the 2 trickiest parts the ring piece and sliding pitch are yet to happen,and ofc the great british winter!!
I reckon by december the south stand will join the east and west stands,then people will believe more,its the optics of still seeing a gap,despite the fact its all meccano now and quick as to install,especially now the piling is mostly finished.
Fair to say it will be close,but it was never going to complete 3 mths early.

The time consuming stuff will be fitting out the internals as well. They'll need to test it in some format with a friendly prior to the main opening.

Thats already well under way.Several photos of internals show completed bars,food areas under the north stand,the consensus is a problem with the roof or sliding pitch is what will delay us if they do.
Apparently theyll be test events before,i dont really remember the library having tests except the summer cup thingy they cant win.

When I see that picture I think much more of Schalke's stadium than the Library and I think Levy has taken a lot on board from other stadium developments and keeping the atmosphere from both a commercial and team performance perspective, so I reckon it will be pretty spot on.

It's amazing the whole technicality of the construction project, I've enjoyed from the first foundations, which I saw with some surprise and were actually dug more than a season ago, when Archway steel was still standing!! You've become a stadium build geek and have a whole new vocabulary as well!!

The steep grade of those rakes is incredible.

Just imagine a game with one drunk at the back leaning too far forward...
What a domino effect that would be.

Cant wait til the east and west are joined on to the south stand in the next month?and finally the full bowl is complete.If thats accomplished before december-ish,have to believe with over 1,300 workers on site come spring it will be almost there.

As with all builds.........I've done a massive amount of 2 tiny ones - You've gotta get the roof on!!
