Remember when he had the reputation of a shrewd wheeler-dealer? “You just got Levy’d” and all that? Now becoming a laughing stock of sorts.
The cunt has such a way of manipulating the media

He landed one bargain deal with Van der Vaart and dined out on it for a decade. Barely got a good deal since

Most people in the know expected this to happen so it's no big surprise. I expect Levy has spaffed millions on his contract as well so another huge payoff.

Anyone in any other job who was this incompetent with money and contracts would have been sacked years ago.

No permanent men’s team manager
No permanent women’s team manager
Director of Football being investigated for fraud and banned from football

What’s the betting Levy weasels his way out of this unscathed?

He’s got a path to that as well. Paul Mitchell is apparently available so could return as DoF and Poch and Nagelsmann available as well.

The fans with short term memories would eat it up and laud Levy as a hero.

We should like to make clear that when Fabio conducted the interview on Club channels yesterday neither he nor the Club had any indication of this decision being made by FIFA,

Fuck off with that bullshit. They fucking knew.

They’re clearly not planning to get rid of him any time soon so the circus continues.

They at the very least knew it was possible. I mean we’ve been saying that here for weeks. This is embarrassing.

Spurs board are a bunch of clowns turning this club into a full blown toxic circus through its handling of the more recent managerial & DoF positions.

There are new reports that managerial targets like Wolfsburg's Kovacs has declined Spurs while Sporting's Amorim has refused on the basis that he has an issue with Levy.

If this becomes a greater issue with more potential candidates refusing us on this basis, it will greatly limit our ability to hire a suitable one. The silver lining is that it may put pressure on Lewis to remove Levy from the footballing side of the business.

I’d love it if more targets publicly declared themselves unavailable due to issues with Levy.

It might ultimately mean we’d end up with Mason as a permanent choice but, as you say, it might also mean we finally get shot of the deranged pipsqueak.

It is time for Lewis to act, unfortunately he probably has no fucking idea what is going on and probably could not care less. Just sip another cocktail in the Bahama___

Ironically the one man who is reported to have a good relationship with Levy is Poch.

At this time given these somewhat dire circumstances, if Poch is the last resort, I'm OK with that.

He’s my first choice.
Realistically... he is the only choice... but...

While he worked wonders with a fresh, young, maliable squad and over achieved to the brink of glory... the circumstances of what he is stepping into now could not be more different...

Can he work with a squad that's tired and jaded to fuck...?

Are there still players in that dressing room who contributed to his departure last time...?

Can he work with Levy after the man fucked him without even spitting on it...?

Does he want to sour his memories and his relationship with the fans when weighed up against the odds that, on the face of it, are very much against him...?

Does he have a world of easier and much much better options that do not represent the risk the Tottenham manager role does...?

I want Poch to be Spurs manager. I also want a 10 inch dong and a six pack but neither of those things have existed since 2019 at least...

I've still got a massive cock BTW... incase you were all wondering...

Goes without saying.

Still, I actually think the current group is not that dissimilar from when Poch took over. Just had a look at the starting lineup from the first game he managed for us (the one at Upton Park when Dier scored the winner in his debut). Definitely some young talent there, but a lot of dead wood too, some of whom were holdovers from the 'Arry era. I get that things aren't exactly the same, but I think if he rebuilt this squad (without, it has to be said, massive investment) he can get us going again with the group we have now:

Lloris
Rose
Dier
Kaboul
Naughton
Capoue
Benteleb
Eriksen
Lamela
Lennon
Adebayor

Bench was:
Kane
Holtby
Soldado
Townsend
Dawson
Friedel
Davies

The fact that we're supposedly working on the permanent signing of Clement Lenglet with no permanent manager makes me laugh really. I do wonder if anyone actually said to Levy "Oh come on Daniel, read the fucking room!" ?.

I think Lenglet can be a good CB, rather him than Sanchez and the money being spent is ok.

From the Athletic ..

"Multiple sources have told The Athletic that chairman Daniel Levy was warned by numerous people inside and outside Tottenham that he should be careful with the appointment and that it could come back to haunt him. At the very least, Levy would have known or should have known the investigation was ongoing, and yet he pressed on with the appointment regardless.

Given what we know now and the subsequent events, Spurs’ due diligence appears to have fallen well short of what is expected for one of Europe’s biggest clubs.

It’s also been suggested that even in the months since Paratici was banned from Italian football, the Spurs hierarchy has barely paid attention to the case. Very little has been said or done, sources claim, and it’s been a case of carrying on and hoping it would blow over."
