I wonder how much the Jurgen Klopp situation plays into what happens now. If Klopp calls time (or has time called on him) which is a strong possibility then the waters become rather murky indeed.
Also, I read that Conte's extension clause contains something along the lines of him being able to demand another year if Spurs finish top 4 (or get the 15m payout for next season if sacked) so I wonder whether that is what the delay in removing him is over. I had assumed it was a one way option and that firing him would mean that he is only paid for this season. Perhaps this is what the hold up is...cheap Daniel haggling over a few million to get Conte out the door.

Conte has form for pursuing unfair dismissal cases in the past as he got one over Chelsea in that respect so this could be why things aren’t moving.

It's interesting you mention leaks as I've seen a few messages this afternoon that claim that morale in the dressing room is even lower than it was during the last few months with the Cunt and also that the players and staff were/are all said to be fed up with Conte’s “rigid and repetitive" training sessions.
The players allegedly were looking forward to the international breaks just for something different.
Someone in Levy's PR department is really going to town here by the looks of it.

my only impression of Nagelsmann is what I’ve read on the BBC website, but it sounds like he has trouble getting on with the players and the owners, and annoys everyone by yelling structions pitch side.
