Concussion from impact with the ground? By all means, play it safe and make sure he's well, but this is indeed a mystery.

It really is an odd one. My first reaction was that he'd hurt his neck, luckily that appears not to have been the case. But he had a head injury a while back as well, and from experience even a minor concussion has to be treated differently once you've had the first one.

Imagine heading those waterlogged, leather balls that weighed 10 lbs by the end of the game.
And we willingly stuck our heads out at that ball going 90 mph.

Last year I almost broke my own nose whilst playing old-people coed five-a-side. In alone against the goalie, fucked it up by blasting it straight at him. He palms it aside, it's going out for a throw-in. Because I'm so clever, I chase it down, try to bicycle kick it back towards goal, and hit myself directly in the nose. Blood, broken glasses, but no concussion. I think. Do I think?
Hoping for full recovery and yeah he needs extra-close attention after having already suffered one in the recent past.
Luckily the squad is so packed with DMs we don't need to rush him back.
