Forgot what it’s like to have teams sit back on us. Need a lot more from the front 3, although not a lot of space being afforded to us.
At the very least, it’s a fuck of a lot better to watch than most the crap we’ve served up over the last few years. So far no signs of our defence passing it between themselves on the edge of our box, ending with Hugo kicking it in to touch.

Look I like Bissouma he is tidy and tries to drive forward... Madison is yet to affect the game from open play...

There's been a few balls into Richarlison that were oh so nearly perfect, get them right and he'll bang a few in. It's going to take time. We have to get used to not having that fucking big tree Dier planted at the back, I saw him on a list of ex-players yesterday, but I think it was a cruel hoax. Brentford are really good defensively, tough to break through, but we'll get a couple more in the second half - probably wiped off by that cuntish VAR.

I still have no issue with Sonny as skipper but this is another game where we’re basically carrying him. Obviously he’s not the only one but I do hope this system and new style can bring the best out of him again.

Not unhappy, not chuffed of course - we didn't win. But seeing a bit of passion for the game. I don't think we'll face much stronger defences than Brentford this season. That Micky V bloke must be so fast I missed the 'blistering pace' I have read so much about.
