Yes, there's a reason they're playing in Europe. Good defensively and one of the best counter attacking teams in the PL
Europe? I don't think so mate, the daft Ingerlsih cunts Brexitted innit? I know Ingerlund is geographically in Europe but even VAR can't give them European football when they finished below us - dunno, maybe they are?

Well, got my prediction right and will take that
But our front three are poor, we need a striker or wide player in. Son either plays striker or not at all
Never want to see that front three again

Funny isn’t it, that 12 months ago, our front 3 were the envy of the league. Now we’ve lost Harry, Kulu’s been found out a bit (I didn’t actually want us to make his deal permanent),he doesn’t have the pace to beat most LBs on the outside, so spends 90% of the time coming inside to traffic, might be ok against teams that don’t sit back. Sonny’s still a shadow of his former self, and Richy, not sure what to make of him, hasn’t had a proper run in the team yet, so the next few months will tell us a lot more about him.

We’ll just have to see about the front 3, they’re all talented but need to see a lot more from them.

Indulge my rapidly advancing senility, which has me convinced that Brighton and Brentford are the same club.

Look I know I'm the pesemist of the group now so I'll own that...

Brentford ain't mugs, we look better until we get to the pointy end...

Some signs of potential at the other end...

Ange has a point.

Lots of positives, lots of concerns to address in that game. But the fact that I (and I think most supporters) am in a decent mood after watching Kane play for Bayern Munich yesterday and Poch manage Chelsea today says a lot.

I enjoyed watching that. Haven’t said that in a while.

Much to improve upon, but I think if Romero wasn’t off with a dodgy head injury call we would have won
Same for me. Very enjoyable game. Light years away from the dross that we had to stomach from Conte and Mourinho.

Apparently it's the 5th successive season we've started with a manager who didn't start the previous season as well. Daniel Levy everyone :)

I'd personally like to see Lo Celso in for Skipp next weekend. Skipp is fine as a defensive midfielder but I don't think he really got to grips with what was asked of him today. Lo Celso might be a better fit alongside Bissouma I think.

Agree with that... Bisouma looked the most offensively minded player in the middle today...

Would like Spence to get some minutes too, hope he uses them more productivity than he did against Barca...

I think Kulu, may have been found out...!

What’s this Orban kid like? I’ve never heard of him.

What’s this Orban kid like? I’ve never heard of him.
Had never heard of him until his name popped up a few months ago.
Only showed up on the Euro map just over a year ago.

21 year old Nigerian kid who this past season played in the Norwegian & Belgian leagues.
Pacy, skillful, & oozes confidence.
Between the two leagues & in all competitions scored 44 goals in 49 appearances. All in all, 53 goal involvements.

Not very big, but he plays a big game. He can make some mazy runs along with intelligent runs off the ball. But he's also a good poacher in the box. He's still very raw but has adapted well to each step up he's made. It would be very interesting to see how he would do with higher level coaching & players around him.

FWIW, the Juniper league ranks higher than the Championship so if someone was putting up similar numbers in that division, they'd be getting serious consideration.
