Tottenham defender Kieran Trippier is the second player to be ruled out of England's World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovakia because of injury.

The 26-year-old right-back missed training with his international squad this week and has returned to his club.

It must be good for Rose, Lamela and Dembele to be back in training?
It's very good first of all for them. In the case of Danny Rose and Erik Lamela, it's fantastic after a long, long time to be involved in first team training for them is so good. We are so happy, they're doing very well. Not full training sessions with team -- I think in the next few weeks. We are very happy because they're feeling so well and they're so close to being available to select. They want to be part of the team, help the team and feel like players again.

When will they be back?
For Lamela and Danny, it's difficult to say one week or two weeks or three weeks. We need to assess them every day, how they feel after every single session. Now, because they're involved in first-team training, it's hard for them because it's different to training alone. If the answer is good for them, maybe in the next few weeks they can be involved and then we'll decide when they can be part of the squad and be involved in some games again. Dembele we need to assess, he's doing well too. We need to assess tomorrow and Monday but he's close to being involved again. It's a different situation to Rose and Lamela.

As much as he's a snake it was god to see Rose return against Real. We are in a good position in the league and Champions League so I think we're going to need the depth in our squad and he's a quality player no doubt.

Rose may be ready to start against west ham, davies and Nkoudou back in squad, lamela full training may be on bench for spammers.
Big concerns over wanyama who is to see a specialist next week and dembele with a hip problem.
Dembele concerns me,he has had mobility issues before, probably with his hip, hope its not going to be Lamela length time off.

#thfc No Lloris in France squad. Deschamps says injured, will miss a couple of weeks. Vorm for Palace, at least.

http://www.espnfc.com/tottenham-hot...t-with-adductor-injury-for-at-least-two-weeks

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be sidelined for at least two weeks after suffering an adductor injury in Wednesday's 3-1 Champions League win over Real Madrid.

Lloris was a conspicuous absence from the France squad on Thursday when it was named by national team boss Didier Deschamps for this month's friendlies against Wales on Nov. 10 and Germany in Cologne four days later.

But Deschamps told reporters that Lloris, who usually captains France, had suffered "a tear of the big adductor."

The France coach added: "He has undergone tests this morning, he'll be out for at least 15 days."

Lloris played the full 90 minutes as Tottenham defeated European champions Madrid at Wembley, but after the game he told beIN SPORTS "I felt something when I landed" after jumping to claim a cross.

I was having this conversation with my new best friend that I sit next to at Wembley last night.......we were agreeing with each other because we know everything, that in Poch's first full season we barely had any injuries at all and we all gleefully put it down to Poch's strict new training regimes and why we were also winning several games in the last 10 minutes.

In the last two seasons we seem to have had more than our fair share of injuries - worrying knees, hips, hamstrings, ankles....heads, shoulders, knees and toes....are our players now too fit? is that a thing, being a too fit ie on the edge of pinging something because it's exhausted? we didn't know, which is very unusual, I think its just bad luck, because our guys are so committed, they go for everything.

We don't need anymore injuries this season though thanks.

At least Lamela is no longer on the injured list (via the OS) perhaps a sub-appearance this weekend?

Nadamar liamsi

Player in Training.
If I was a betting man I'd say it will be just under two weeks.....probably fit by 17th I reckon

Got to remember players are growing older and are playing more games, nearly 12 months a year.
It is only natural it is now catching up with Dele Harry Toby Rose etc

Jan has been pulled out of tomorrows belgium game with an injury.
Vertonghen has remained with Belgium to be assessed, as they are hopeful that he will still be available for Tuesday night's game with Japan

Dear Belgium, he will be 'better' by Wednesday morning, ready for a light training session on Thursday and fit to face Arsenal on Saturday. You can send him home now for some R&R. Thank you.
