Fair enough mate but given his rather extravagant transfer fee, Johnson has been a massive bust.

Where is this worldly speed that he allegedly has, for starters? The guy never takes on a man. He specialises in tap ins and five yard backward passes.

The fact is Johnson, Werner, Forster,...i could go on...those players being prominent in the squad is testament to Mr Levy's mismanagement of all things on the pitch for many years. Take Kulo out and we've got a pretty average bunch on the pitch with inexperience on the bench.
Is it Johnson's or Werners's fault they're playing in the PL for THFC on big wages ? No. Fair play to them...and their agents.
But unfortunately, we've got to try and recover from it by shipping out players who don't perform and then trying to replace them with players who are not wanted by City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Villa, Chelsea, and now possibly Forest and Newcastle...

Deki is obviously the standout but we do have the core roughly set up. In my view, the following are all best XI or strong enough to be in the rotation; Sarr, Bergvall, Solanke, VDV, Romero, Porro, Spence, Udogie, Moore, Gray and both keepers.

Question marks on Son, Maddison, Odobert, Dragusin, Bissouma, Bentancur.

Bigger question mark on Johnson.

The rest should all be in the shop window although I may be inclined to offer Davies an extension based on his leadership ability alone.

Yeah ok lad, fair point on some there. Gray and Bergvall are serious talents, especially Gray and a fit VDV. But Porro, Romero, Udogie, Sarr and Solanke, Dragusin, and Vicario are still up for debate imo.

If we want to compete on several levels are squad needs a massive improvement and proper investment over a sustained period of time. The question is, Will Levy really back Ange next Summer or will he just do his usual and pay over the odds on an average player at the last hour of deadline day ?!
