Seems a bit redundant to be offering Sanchez around to all and sundry when he's proven so far (aside from penalty taking..) that he'd be a half decent understudy to Romero or Van Der Ven. As far as Dier goes, I've been reading some thoughts of people who think that since his next contract will likely be the last big one of his career, he's looking to make it as profitable as possible as he'd likely pocket a fairly sizeable signing on bonus as well.

But to basically sacrifice a year of your career to achieve that is rather strange. But then I suppose with the level of abuse he's received from some of the fanbase over the past year or so, he probably doesn't really care what anyone thinks.
