There’s a little bit of me that feels a bit sorry for Dier. He’s in the last year of his contract and it’s widely expected he’s going to see it out and leave on a free next year but it must be a bit disheartening as a player if you’re looking to leave a club and your agent is telling you there’s no interest.

But then if Munn comes in and sets realistic transfer fees for all of them then there’s no reason why we can’t shift them.

If it was down to the Dark Lord, he’d be expecting upwards of £25m each for them.

Maddison, Bentancur and Bissouma would be one hell of a midfield.

Porro and Udogie on the wings, either as attacking FB’s or WB’s with the front three that we have available and it certainly suggests some pretty exciting football to come.

Agreed. I'll never forget him and Poch both tearing up the day he scored his first. Or him coming on to close out the match against Real Madrid. In the end just not good enough for where we want to be, but he has been the source of much joy over the years, manager-mandated caution notwithstanding.
