Tottenham are watching Gleison Bremer’s situation at Juventus as they assess centre-back targets to bolster
Ange Postecoglou’s backline this summer.
Bremer, 26, has been on Spurs’ radar since playing at Torino before moving to Juve a year ago, where he has impressed
during a season of turmoil during which they were docked points and finished seventh in Serie A.
The Brazil international has other admirers in the Premier League who are waiting to see if he will be made available after just one season at Juventus. There are expected to be outgoings at the club and his availability could rest on whether others are offloaded first, with sources not expecting approaches until late in the window.
Spurs have been looking at centre-backs and, as reported by the Telegraph Sport, have shown interest in Manchester United captain Harry Maguire, who has lost his regular starting place under Erik Ten Hag. They have also been linked with Bayer Leverkusen’s Edmond Tapsoba.
In the centre-back position, new manager Postecoglou has Clément Lenglet returning to Barcelona after his season-long loan last season, while Davinson Sánchez could leave the club for the right price.
