The odds on Grealish arriving are getting shorter.

How long we got... Feels like it's back on the merry go round so far...

The whole circus kicks off next Saturday at 3pm at home to Burnley.

You know in that window where we didn't sign anyone you had that sinking feeling quite early the way it was going to go?.

Definitely the same here. 3 days to the Super Cup and 6 days to the start of the league season and we've made one signing and one loan signing.

Lange needs to go first and Levy can fuck off afterwards.

I’d nearly bring Dele back on spec at this stage.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Absolutely.

Could be useful off the bench in a pinch.

At the very least I’d invite him to come and train with the team and use the facilities until he gets a move or figures out what he wants to do.

I wouldn't sign him to a full deal. It would be more along the lines of "pay if you play" and give the manager full autonomy over whether or not he uses him.

If someone else came in with an offer then he could certainly take it.

In other news, apparently Everton are "advancing" in talks with Grealish as we appear to have not shown any interest (as expected..).

LOL, and who will we end up with... Harry Winks...!!!

Or no-one...

Savinho... (Not a clue about who he is) I'm sure as Citeh have him, he'll be at worst better than what we have got.

We lost a living club legend again, and to date have replaced him with a loan and cover for a position we didn't really need...

Lange, Patrici, Levy and all the fucking rest have contrived to fuck yet another window for the fans... Shame because I like what Frank had done in the league and to be fair as soon as he is ejected as the latest victim of this club, he'll go somewhere else and be a success again...

Considering how Levy fucked them around over Kyle Walker and Kane, they'll probably want to return the favour so I wouldn't expect him through the door without plenty of aggro - if he even comes at all.

Reading around he's apparently valued at around £70m so of course we'll offer £50m with add-ons. He also apparently prefers playing on the right, alongside Kudus and Johnson so even if we did sign him we'd still need a number 10.

He'd be one of our best players. And he's played the 10 some for them when he's been in the XI. But yeah, he ain't coming here.

Grealish to Everton on a season long loan.

I know many don’t rate him but he’s got proven Premiership experience and I think he may well be a missed opportunity.

[Fabrizio Romano] Current bid is for €50m, feeling is around €70m will get it done. The player is keen on Tottenham, he wants to be an important player and play every game. Thomas Frank is pushing like crazy for the player.

If the gap between asking and offered price is really 20 million, you can consider this one off the table.

If we had a front 4 of:

- - - - - - - - - - - Solanke/Tel - - - - - - - - - -
Savinho - - Eze/El Khannouss - - - Kudus

I'd be quite excited for this season.
And in typical Spurs fashion, the puzzle is incomplete as right now we only have 2 or the 4 pieces.

And both are likely to get injured warming up before the opening game.

We are a joke club.

Eze would be Sons long term replacement, and always should have been maybe 2 or 3 seasons ago...

Like I said, I dunno who the other lad is, but if he is with the OG Sports Washing FC, he won't be dog shit.

The trouble is, first of all, these all make sense and improve the squad...

And secondly, the money just won't happen and the wages will always be the ultimate stumbling block that will make us dither like a decrepit pensioner, while other actually interested clubs pounce and get the player they want.

I was 100% no thanks on Grealish... But when Madders career took a step closer to the shitter... I thought a loan wouldn't be a bad look while we assessed him and found a replacement...

Fuck knows what Kudos thinks he has landed himself into... At least Pauline can fuck off back to Ze Germans after a year...

Socks firmly intact in this transfer window... So far.
