Forest are apparently throwing a fit over the Gibbs-White transfer and have cut all contact with us because they believe it was an “illegal approach”.

According to reports, they consider the deal off because they didn’t give him permission to speak to us.

Most seem to think nothing will happen and he’ll still sign, just that it’ll be delayed.

MGW is at Forest. But he (and Kudus) are definitely cut from the same cloth as some of the guys he had at Brentford
Yeah, I got that wrong. Only know him from our games v Forest.

Love me a nice tapping up allegations. Only when we are this side of it though

Looks like the MGW deal became more complicated... The tapping up aside, Forest want to buy Wiasa and the money from MGW gets them over the line on that deal... So they might get Wiasa, but loose MGW...!

We're also apparently in for Wissa as he only has a year left on his current deal...

I think £30m would get you Wiasa in his last year, although they're banding around £50m, which ain't ever happening...

He'd be a fucking breath of fresh air in our side I think... He can finish and works his arse off... Great option to save Sonny's legs...

I'm so far genuinely impressed with what we appear to be trying to do... Seasoned Prem players who aint far away from taking that next step into top tier Prem players...

If Frank gets these lads all working, it could be fucking awesome.

Well also wave cheerio to a few that have not set the world alight as much as they maybe should have...

Forest don’t have a leg to stand on and we should be playing hardball.

We won’t of course and this will likely fuck up the rest of the window.

Where was our legal action for Berbarov, Keane, Bale, Modric, Walker, etc etc etc...

Just fucking get it done and move on.

If they don't like it, then don't sell him to us. What is this hissy fit about?

Per journalist Matheus Filipe, Palmeiras have opened direct talks with Richarlison over a deal to sign him this summer. The pursuit is being spearheaded by club president Leila Pereira, who is personally leading negotiations. The Brazilian club are aware that Spurs want £55m.

Apparently Gibbs-White "held talks" with Forest on Monday and they're said to be open to selling him "at the right price".

So if there's any truth in that, they appear to be trying to ignore his release clause.

This is going to end up falling through, I can see it.

Yes, there is no way Levy is going to pay more than the release clause. Of course it could just be them trying to hardball for more ££££ upfront. It's all gotten a bit boring now. Knew all this rapid transfer activity was too good to be true.

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a fee in principle to sell goalkeeper Josh Keeley to Luton Town after failing to agree a new contract with the 22-year-old.

Keeley enjoyed a great season in League One with Leyton Orient, registering 16 clean sheets, as well as scoring a dramatic headed goal in an FA Cup tie against Oldham and receiving praise from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola before earning a senior call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad at the end of the campaign.

Shame we couldn't agree terms with him, he's a good one, based on what I've seen probably better than Kinsky.

Reading earlier that Gibbs-White apparently wants his situation resolved before Monday as that's when Forest leave for pre-season in Portugal.

I'd be willing to wager that if he ends up travelling with them then it's a sure sign it's all off.

Got shades of Saido Berahino all over again.

Well of course we should all be doing that anyway. Whatever life throws at you, I'm sure it's Levy's fault ..

Makes sense to me. I feel like he's at least partly responsible for a lot of emotional damage we've all suffered...

Apparently Gibbs-White didn't travel with Forest to Portugal due to an apparent "personal and private" matter that's meant to be unrelated to any transfer but he's expected to joing up with them later this week.

Forest are also said to have cut off all lines of communication with us as well. So basically going all-in on a breach of contract.
