Breaking on SSN. Don’t know anything about him so straight to the YouTube obligatory video.

Why the fuck are we spending on him? We dont need one of him. We need help elsewhere. Classic fucking Daniel Levy chasing the shiny object in the window rather than addressing what needs addressing.
We've been here so many times it's not even funny.

We get the leaks about the fanciful targets and bids of X millions for so-and-so, then we get the real signing of someone we've never heard of for £20 quid and a can of Special Brew and everyone insists that they were the managers "top target" all along.

The manager smiles through gritted teeth at the press conference about the new signing and how excited he is to work with him and subsequently never plays him because he didn't want him in the first place.

Repeat until my head explodes.

Diaz is a live wire.
He'd be an exciting acquisition.
If Adama is on the other side with Kane in the middle, we'll be scary as fvck.

BTW, I'm sure this is some of the Vlahovic money that we are now spending.

If this is true, I wouldn't be surprised if it means they've either changed their mind on Dele or have refused to pay dear leader's asking price.

Is this going to be the equivalent of transfer supermarket sweep at the last minute ?

Reports that we are struggling to get even the Traore deal done, and our "improved" bid for Diaz will still be way below what Porto want for him. Conte will be gone before the end of the season. Let's just hire Dean Henderson and embrace our new life as a mid-table side. What is the point of going through all these motions?

Summary from Fabrizio youtube live with MattHayes
Luis Diaz bid was a serious Face to Face meeting yday
Initial stance is 60-65M Euros from Porto, they have communicated first bid not acceptable so we need to come back to the table
No issues from the player to come to us , reports saying the contrary false
Lines of communication still open, Porto will not allow it to go to deadline day has to be this week if happens
Outgoings in general is going to really help Spurs incomings
Abracadabra pretty much done deal, but we need outgoings sorted first
Adama basically still working on numbers, seemed confident over the weekend not sure why its gone a little quiet, we wont pay 25/27M.... no issues on personal terms with adama
Tangoo PSG will pay full wages 6 month loan, key element in discussion now would be the buy option fee
Valencia defo interest in Tangoo but decison upto the player, they would seem to pay full wages for 6 months... key preference for PSG
Gini not involved in swap deal or Draxler, probably was mentioned during discussion but just that its normal to explore all possible options, but as it stands no swapies here
Dele all the clubs mentioned in press yday there is interest, all will need to pay full wages, no more info than yday, but he expects Dele to leave this window
Tanganga AC Milan not happening

What do you think is acceptable then for a fee for Tanguy at the end of his loan if it’s an obligation to buy? Anything above 30 million we should snap there hand off and hold our hands up and say we fucked up.

It’s always the same with us every deadline day looking for a bargain and leaving it till the very last minute.

I'm willing to bet we get this non league player in and all the wasted wages are still here, playing fortnite, running down their contracts.

Dear Leader will want at least what he paid for him. Even though his current market value is estimated at around £34m, his fee will be a minimum of double that.

I agree that £30m and above should be an no-brainer but I can't see that happening.

Certainly a shit situation. Only hope is that he goes on loan without obligation to buy and play like a world beater more or less every game and propel his valuation up.

Can’t see if happening myself. I wonder whether he would really flourish in a slow pace league like Italy but only time will tell.

For me, he'll go down as one of the most disappointing signings we've ever made. He has the physicality to succeed in the Premiership and has some (not much!) pace and an eye for a pass. If he actually gave two shits about playing football, he'd be an absolute beast and worth a lot more than we paid for him.

I think he gives a shit, but not enough of a shit to help build a team. He wants to be on an established, world class team.

We'll see though soon enough, I guess

Another player that I like is Broja at Southampton. He's big quick and scores goals - and was initially on our books before going to Chelsea and is now on loan from them to Saints.

Not sure if Chelsea would sell him to us, but he would be a good buy at £15m or so and is already scoring goals in the PL.
