Yeah. Got to feel for the kid, though. Must be very disappointing.
Potentially another Lamela who would have spent more time in the treatment room so maybe we’ve dodged a bullet after all.

Potentially takes him out of being transferred anywhere for some time I’d say. No club would want to sign a kid who isn’t going to be able to play many games due to persistent medical issues.Wow, that's unexpected...
Guess that drives his prices through the floor?
This one won't go away, and Jacob Steinberg is far from a gossip merchant.
Yeah I saw this and also thought it ridiculous. Our nackered old horses go to Bayern; theirs don't come our way! Some small talk in The Guardian the other day of a swoop for Joshua Kimmich if we don't get CG.
No hope in hell as he is on 322,000/week.
Football transfer rumours: Joshua Kimmich to shore up Spurs’ midfield?
Jonathan David to Chelsea? | Brentford to beat Spurs to Antonio Nusa? | Bruno Guimarães to PSG this summer?www.theguardian.com
Paratici cannot conduct any transfer market activity directly - he cannot talk to agents nor negotiate deals, which is a fundamental part of his job as managing director of football - but he can work internally at Spurs, including attending meetings.
It's said that Kulusevski met up with him and talked up the club to persuade him to join.Hopefully not the new Erik Edman…..
Beating Barcelona and Bayern to 2 signings in a window says alot about what we as a club can offer

The financial piece is big, but being a club where players think they might have a chance to break through (as opposed to Citeh, where players like Kalvin Phillips wither on the vine) will always be important. It also means that we get smart players who have planned out their development.^^^This^^^
2 up & coming players chose Spurs over two teams in the highest tier.
It really looks like the stars have finally aligned in terms of our organization & we're starting to reap the benefits while other clubs are struggling financially & have lost some of their magnetism.
That's why I believe it has more to do than just financials. Ange is creating an appealing culture & competitive mindset within the club & his reach carries beyond. Players are taking notice.
