This is, IMO, exactly what's at stake over the next 24 hours or so. The thing about a democracy is that people have to make the decisions you're talking about. We'll see if they did.Mate, I know you've spoken truth... But this type of shit happens in the Congo. It happens in Botswana. It happens in Lao.
Like I said up the page, your democracy is dangling by a thread and unless someone grips it hard and makes some decisions to reinstate it's integrity, you will lose it eventually.
At that point the world changes and a new arms race begins in order to ensure that the global protection the US provided can be reinstated by home nations.
I think I'll wait up and see the early results roll in.
