I hear Rose is staying & that he wants to stay.

If he can get back to the player he was prior to injury, we'll do fine.
Do you think it has anything to do with a potential certain new wage structure?

Probably a combination of new wage structure and the fact he's come back to earth since his injuries and realised he has it pretty good at Spurs considering he ain't played a good game for 18 months bar the last game of the season...

Some outlets claiming AVB to Real Madrid as he can get the best out of Bale. But what about the rest?

From the Sun:
  • Real Madrid are considering Andre Villas-Boas to replace Zinedine Zidane because he got the best out of Gareth Bale at Tottenham.

Why did no-one want to sign him...

That I don't understand as we know when motivated he is right up there. Yeah i know it hasnt happened for a while, but he has it in him... somewhere.
I agree better kept if he gets on his game.I guess why he hasnt gone, injuries last year, dealing with Levy,it was only ever united mentioned and they have since signed a kid as cover.Guess no one really seeing him play for 1½ years makes it understandable?and probably a bit Rose himself obviously has some feeling for the club, our longest serving player ATM and unless he went to city as much chance of a trophy at spurs as chelsea, arsenal, man u,liverpool.

Footballs to 'in the now' really, but if he has a good world cup, I'll bet things change all of a sudden.

Would be awesome to see AVB handing Ronaldo or Ramos little notes during a game. They would include insights like "Sergio, play defense!," and "Chris, score goals!" He'll have that club turned around in no time.

Julen is a fan of Isco & Asensio.
Maybe Julen is the dry tinder that the ember of hope needed to flame Bale's exit towards Spu.......

As much as i’d love to have Martial, won’t Utd want a huge fee for him? From what I understand, Mourinho doesn’t want him to go and if they were to let him leave, i’d imagine they’d want their money back and more. So probably looking at something in excess of £60 mill.

Mourinho doesn't want him to leave cause he knows fine rightly he will be epic wherever his next club may be.... Much like de bruyne, Salah, lukaku and Bonucci. He would indeed be expensive though. Worth every penny in my opinion.

I'd spend that on Rashford all day long.

The Squirrels heard that this might be happening - source Alasdair Gold

Alassane Plea
This one does make sense. The striker situation is more of a priority area for Spurs than left-back right now. Fernando Llorente reckons he's staying at Spurs, but the club might just have other ideas as they look to make room for others. Tottenham need a more mobile striker to provide back-up or play alongside Kane and Plea fits that mould.

The 25-year-old scored 21 goals for eighth-placed Nice last season and laid on six assists for his team-mates. He also has the ability Pochettino craves - versatility - as he can play as an attacking midfielder as well as a lone striker.

Didn't show up for training today, naughty.

Never heard of him. Are you sure it's not Alassane N'Plea?

I don’t know his middle initial, but he plays for Nice, attacking midfielder, striker, aged 25, Pikeys are also in apparently. Approx £30m and Danny Rose had to Google him.

Is it just me or does every player in the world seem to be linked with the dippers? Like every one I read has at least a footnote saying "Liverpool are also understood to be monitoring this deal"...

I know the media hang off their dicks but tgis is incessant...

So back in 1978we made a statement and signed two World Cup winners in Ossis and Ricky.
So which two World Cup winners should we potentially go for, with 5 players already , I’d go for Maguire and Rashford

Poch: “The most important thing is to identify our targets and, on 3 July, when we start our pre-season, they are here. If we don’t, it’s so difficult for them to help the team and, during the season, you will pay. If we wait and, before we sign, we sell, it’s so difficult"

I think Levy might be a troubled soul at present, i get a message almost daily suggesting I buy a Fulham ticket at Wembley. That's not happening. Uncle Joe has just been over....What for? Surely he would have waited for the stadium opening...No stadium sponsor has been announced yet, no biggie, but might have expected some rumours, We haven't signed anyone overtly, unless we have behind the scenes - Grealish? and the Stadium may actually be very late ie after the proposed Liverpool game.

Is the silence becoming too deafening. I hope not.

Supposedly we are in for Pavard. Not sure why we would be, but I was still excited to see us linked with a player that Danny wouldn't have to Google. Would rather a CM and keep Toby. Keep Toby and we wil have the best defense in the PL. Keep everyone healthy and we can win this league. COME ON YOU LEVY!

Pavarotti , from what I saw would be excelllent signing , he could either play as RCb if Toby does go , but I’d think he’d be the Dogs , in front of the back 5 instead of Dier
