I think they had to sell Duran due to PSR.

I’d expect them to reinvest a chunk given they have qualified for the CL knockout stage.

Although I think their wage situation is a potential issue.

Apparently we could spend £180m in this window and still be well inside any FFP rules.

Been reading that Tel is allegedly waiting to see if United or Woolwich “formalise their interest” which makes me wonder if he’s worth bothering with if it’s true.

Just wait until he speaks with Ange. ;)
Well he must have done as they’re now reporting we’ve reached agreement with Bayern for a €60m fee, which I suspect would probably come out of what they still owe us for Kane.

Supposed to be up to the player now.

Typical for us though. One day to go before the window closes and we finally make a move for someone.

I guess I'll take him but what are the odds we dont get him and levy pulls out the "well, we tried" card

Tottenham Hotspur’s injury crisis has had the club scrambling for reinforcements this January, but plans to bring in extra bodies on loan from Chelsea have fallen through, CaughtOffside can exclusively reveal.

Spurs looked at Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile and as well as their midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as potential stopgaps – but they did not manage to get them.

Blues defender Axel Disasi was briefly seen as a solution for Spurs’ defensive issues earlier this month, with Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero both sidelined. However, with the duo expected back soon, the club got cold feet and pulled the plug on the idea, CaughtOffside has been informed.

The club’s real focus now is on signing a striker as Dominic Solanke is likely to be out for six weeks with a knee injury. With injuries and patchy form up front, manager Ange Postecoglou is desperate to bring in someone who can add goals. We are told he has asked for help from chairman Daniel Levy, even if loans are brought in.

Spurs had made the attempt to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain but the Frenchman opted to join Juventus on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

If we actually get Tel, I'll be very happy.
We'll have the makings of a very good team for years to come.

So in theory we could buy Tel (£55m),Nico Williams (£50m buy out clause),Jonathan David (£20m, contract ends in the summer) Brainthwaite (£40m plus Richarlson) and still be under FFP.

Tel move not going ahead. He has rejected Levy's advances.
